Success Stories cont.Service-in-Action Created and implemented the auxiliary team of Dreams in Action, with team members involved in mentor-

ing and supporting a young women who has aged out of the foster care program and is struggling to earn aliving, complete her degree, help other foster children and learn everything she was never taught about beingan adult.

Decided, as a committee, to focus on Valentine's Day as the target to provide baskets to local foster girls so

as not to double up with other organizations whose focus is either Thanksgiving or Christmas. Agreed that the committee would explore ways to assist previous Women's Opportunity Award recipients

who still struggle to live their dream. Implemented a carwash fundraiser and have sold 75% of the first batch to increase our budget for hands-on

    action.

    Which Reminds us

Have you purchased/sold your car wash tickets yet? See Lisa !
