È stato usato anche nella prima media con ottimi risultati, anche perché i ragazzi devono risolvere il compito senza capire tutto – come fra l’altro succede effettivamente

quando uno impara una lingua. Il compito richiede non solo la conoscenza della lingua ma anche delle competenze organizzative e del ‘decision-making’. A parte il valore

culturale, l’esercizio incorpora anche la matematica, i prezzi, l’ora, le attività del tempo libero…

Per la scuola media l’esercizio viene compiuto in inglese usando i vari modi di suggerire (let’s, how about, what about, we could ecc.) con le risposte naturali (sounds good, cool,

great, sure ecc.) per poi scrivere un dialogo Alternativamente ognuno può organizzare per se’ la sua vacanza per poi presentarla o nel passato o futuro
