SHUKUBO(temple lodging ) in and around Tokyo

When staying at a Shukubo, guests are required to observe the rules and regulations of each temple.

FUKUOUZAN SHOGAKUJI TEMPLE Soto S

Notes: Reservations must be made at least 3 days in advance. Expect to enter the temple between 3:00 pm and 4:30 pm. You are encouraged to participate in Zen meditation.

DAIYUZAN SAIJOJI SHIKARYO Soto S

Notes: Expect to enter the temple between 4:00 pm and 5:00 pm. Expect to go to sleep at 9:00pm and wake up at 4:30 am or 5:00 am. Be sure to be accompanied by a Japanese person or by a Japanese speaker.
