Python. ‘La-Compass-2020’– National Technical Mega Festival on

Computer Science and Information Technology was organized by

KadiSarva Vishwavidyalaya, Shri Maneklal M. Patel Institute of Science

and Research on 15th February 2020.

CONGRATULATIONS to the champs

of our MCA fourth semester (Lateral) students GajjarJhanvi, Jain Tirth and

Shah Henil who participated and secured first position in the event "Web

Development - A Project Development Competition using PHP". In a small team

of three coders a web development competition, lets students share their skills

and connect with other coders while working together to solve a problem based

on the spot real-time development challenge. ‘La-Compass-2020’– National

Technical Mega Festival on Computer Science and Information Technology was

organized by KadiSarva Vishwavidyalaya, Shri Maneklal M. Patel Institute of

Science and Research on 29th February 2020.

A webinar on "Cloud Computing" was arranged

by the MCA department on 30th May 2020 for

enhancing the knowledge of students during the

lockdown. Ms. Richa, the CTO of Stad Solutions

was the expert speaker. An overwhelming 650+

registrations from more than 35 colleges across

India showcased that students are looking

forward to CPI webinars. The participants were

enthralled with the knowledge of the speaker

and the webinar garnered positive feedback

from the academic fraternity.All the webinars

were coordinated by Prof. Harish Morwani.

Online is the new mode of education.

Following this philosophy, another

webinar was arranged by the MCA

department on 6th June 2020 for

nurturing the young technical minds.

Mr. Brijesh Patel, Senior Technical

Trainer of Tops Technologies handled

the webinar on "Mobile Game

Development". There were more than

150 registrations from various colleges

across Gujarat. The students were really

excited to learn the basics of game

development.

Continuing with the weekly

webinar series, the MCA

department arranged another

webinar on 13th June 2020 for

knowledge enhancement of

budding tech-preneurs. Mr.

Akash Padhiyar, CEO of Akash

Technolabs conducted the

webinar on “Ionic Framework”.

The heightened awareness of

quality of these CPI webinars

enforced more than 900

participants from around 50

colleges across India to throng

the webinar. The participants

were super excited to learn the

basics of the cross-platform

mobile app development

framework.

Cultural Festival Celebration @ SCPPGICA

Food Festival 2020: Chimanbhai Patel Institute organized a food festival 2020 on the campus.

Over 10 stalls were set up to showcase their enthusiasm in culinary selling food ranging from

regional, fusion and street food like sandwich, Vada-pav, Bhoonglabataka, smoky biscuits etc. The

food festival was a unique experience for everyone. The festival was aimed at grooming the

leadership and entrepreneur skills of the students.
