– 10th Nov. 2019 Revered Madam/Sir,

We feel immense pleasure to invite your school for the participation in CBSE National Rope Skipping

Championship under- 14,19 (Boys & Girls) from 7th

- 10th

November, 2019 to be hosted in our school.

The competition will be conducted according to the rules of Rope Skipping Federation of India. Please make sure you have completed the participation formalities of CBSE online as under:

Without both of these, the student will not be allowed to participate as per CBSE rules.

The tournament will commence with the Opening Ceremony on 8th

November, 2019 (Morning) and

conclude with the Closing Ceremony on 10th

November, 2019 (Afternoon). The participating teams are requested to bring one School Flag and banner bearing the name of their School for ceremonies. The team

officials along with the teams have to report at the venue on 7th

November, 2019 by 2.00 p.m. for registration and other official procedures. Officials` meeting will be held at 4.00 p.m. This is compulsory for all team officials. Teams with girls as participants should be accompanied by a lady coach. So you are requested to send us the entries & other details by 25th September,2019 at the school mail ([email protected]) positively. Keeping in view the smooth management of tournament, it is our humble request to send your consent

GENERAL GUIDELINES

PARTICIPATING SCHOOL

1. Every affiliated school is entitled to enter its team in the CBSE National Rope Skipping Championship

2019-2020. 2. No school will be permitted to participate unless they fill the online discipline-wise Entry

Performa and by-hand Entry Performa would not be accepted. 3. No team will be permitted to participate unless accompanied by a teacher/coach designated by the

participating school Principal. 4. All expenses on items like travel, food, kit etc. will have to be borne by the participating School. 5. The team has to bring mosquito repellent (e.g. All Out, Goodnight), lock & Key, torch, soap,

toothpaste, own towels & top sheets (for hygiene), any particular medicine required by players. The participating teams are not allowed to carry any jewellery, hard cash, weapons etc. the school will not be responsible for loss/ misplacement of any valuable items or belongings of the team. Responsibility to look after mobiles, cameras, cash and belonging lies solely on the participants.

6. All the outstation teams of boys and girls will be lodged separately in the school premises. Team in need of stay facility must inform on or before 1st October 2019.

7. Each participant/school must remit Rs. 350.00 per head per day against lodging and boarding. Money will be collected against boarding and lodging on full day basis and no part payment will be collected and the participating schools will not insist for refund of part payment.

8. It is compulsory for outstation teams staying in the school to have their meals in the school. For local teams provision of meals will be made on their prior intimation.

9. Dining in the mess arranged by the host school is mandatory for the teams that opt to stay in the

school provided accommodation. Please note that once your school offers its consent to take meal in

our school it cannot be altered later on to avoid any embarrassment and wastage on the host school. 10. It is not obligatory on the part of Organizing School to provide food & transport facility to

school/teams making their own stay arrangements. Also, it is the responsibility of the school/teams staying outside, to collect information in regard to matches/fixtures/program etc.

11. Every participant team shall carry with them the required documents as mentioned under title “Eligibility”.

12. Every team will carry their school flag, for the purpose of March past and to be used during the various ceremonies. Participation in March past is compulsory, failing which their right to participate can be forfeited.

13. Any non-designated person accompanying the team will not be entertained for any matter at the venue and will not be permitted to stay in the premises.

14. In case the player/team is being accompanied only by the parent, it should be informed by the Principal of participating school in writing.

ACCREDITED REPRESENTATIVES (TEACHER/COACH/MANAGER)

15. All the teams shall be accompanied by a Teacher/Coach/Manager designated by the participating

school Principal. 16. No team will be permitted to participate without accompanying official. 17. No team shall be accompanied by more than two officials. 18. No team shall be accompanied by any parent. However if a parent is accompanying the team, such

information may be provided by the school on the school letterhead. 19. In case of Girls participants, one of the accompanying officials must be a female. 20. The officials accompanying the team shall have a valid Identity Card issued by their school

Principal.

No extra person shall be permitted to stay inside the school premises and on the play field along

with the teams.

ENTRIES

21. A junior player can be permitted to play in senior age group, and then the participation in the

original group will be forfeited. 22. Soon after filling-in the entry proforma, schools shall make travel bookings and send the information

to the Organizing school for making the necessary arrangements. 23. Whatsoever the reason may be, on the spot entry and late entry will not be entertained.

WITHDRAWING SCHOOL

24. If a school, after filling-in its entry, wishes to withdraw from a tournament/meet, it shall give a

written request of its intention to do so to the Organizing Secretary :- Ms. Jatinder Kaur

25. School withdrawing without informing/requesting the Organizing school, will be penalized with a

penalty or Rs.1000/-.

ELIGIBILITY

Age:

The Participant should be within the particular age group on 31 December, 2019.

(a) Only bonafide students shall be eligible to participate National Rope Skipping Championship 2019.

Feeding any non bonafide student shall lead to disqualification of the team. (b) A student, who has failed twice in a particular class, shall no more be eligible to participate. (c) Incomplete information in any respect is liable for disqualification of team. (d) Any violation in eligibility (over age or Impersonation) shall be dealt according to rules. (e) Medical check up may also be applied by the Jury of Appeal appointed by the Organizing school in

the cases of overage suspicion. (f) A player shall be under 14; 19 years of age on 31 Dec, 2019.

1. Under 14 years: Born on or after 01.01.2006 2. Under 19 years: Born on or after 01.01.2001

(g) All the supporting papers verifying the age of the player, etc in original, as per the CBSE Guidelines

& Rules shall be carried personally by the Team Manager/Coach while reporting for participation. (h) The player’s right to participate forfeits if fails to produce the papers supporting the eligibility in

original on demand.

Any Participant not fulfilling the eligibility criteria before the commencement of the championship

shall not be permitted to participate.

IMPORTANT: IT SHALL BE MANDATORY -

(i) To provide the documents for verification in original if asked for. (ii)To supply the team photo with school Principal along with the entry Performa, countersigned by the

Principal. (iii) For student/player studying in class IX and above, to provide CBSE registration number.

a. All the supporting Documents verifying the age of the player in original/ attested by

the principal as per the CBSE Guidelines & Rules shall be carried personally by the

Team Manager/Coach while reporting for participation:-

i) DOB Certificate. ii) Aadhaar Card. iii) Identity Card of school. iv) X Class Pass Certificate (in case of XI & XII Class student)

v) CBSE Registration number (for students studying in 10th and above)

b. The team photo with school Principal along with the entry Performa, countersigned by the concerned Principal.

c. To supply the eligibility performa filled-in online, countersigned by the concerned Principal.

Eligibility/Entry Performa:

Every school shall supply the signed copy of the eligibility performa filled online to the host school on

arrival.

DISQUALIFICATIONS

A player/team may be disqualified/scratched for the following reasons.

1. If the ineligibility of any member of the team is detected. 2. Inclusion of non bonafide student in the team. 3. Misbehavior on ground by player or accompanying official. 4. Use of abusive language by player or accompanying official. 5. Misbehavior with Officials/Opponents by player or accompanying official. 6. Indiscipline at the place of stay by player or accompanying official. 7. Damaging the school property. 8. Indiscipline during the Opening and Closing ceremonies by player or accompanying official. 9. Non participation in March Past.

The Organizing School in no case shall show the eligibility performa or any other paper of a team to

anyone who lodges the protest. It is only jury of appeal’s prerogative to verify all the documents.

The Organizing school shall submit details of the defaulters to the Jt Director (Sports) reporting

the names of the schools/athletes, in a separate cover. All such defaulters will be debarred from

the participation in CBSE Inter School Sports and Games Competition for the next year. If any of

such school resorts to unfair means again, in the subsequent years, it will be debarred for three

years.

PROTEST

Protest of any nature in connection with the tournament shall be in writing and must reach the

Organizing Secretary and CBSE Observer within one hour of the declaration of the result, duly

accompanied by a fee of Rs.1000/- (Rupees One Thousand).

Such a protest will be considered by Jury of Appeal, consisting of following:-

1. Principal, Organizing School 2.Organizing Secretary 3.CBSE Observer 4.One or two

technically qualified People present at the venue

The parties under dispute may be heard before deciding the issue. In case the protest is

uphold, the protest fee shall be refunded to the protesting school otherwise the fee shall

be forfeited.

The decision taken by the Jury of Appeal will be final and binding.

The decision, together with full facts of the protest may immediately be reported to

the Jt (Sports) CBSE.

Team Officials:

The meeting of the team manager and the coaches with the Principal and the

organizing committee will be held on 7 November 2019 at 4.00 pm in the

Auditorium of the school.
