Shri. BRIJMOHAN AGRAWAL BIOGRAPHYthe story of a strong leader
Since from the childhood he had a desire of becoming an advocate in his student life, he did L.L.B from Durga
Mahavidyalaya in Raipur. He married Smt. Sarita Agrawal and they have 3 children: Abhishek,
Shubhkriti and Aditya.
Shri. Brijmohan Agrawal, born on 1 May 1959, is a cabinet minister in the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), ministry of Chhattisgarh, India. He held the position of education minister of
Chhattisgarh. Until 2013, he was the minister of Public Works Department, Endowment, School Education, Culture, Tourism Departments and Legislative Affairs until 2013.
Since 2013 reshuffle, he has served as the position of Agriculture Minister, Fish Rearing, Water Resources and Animal Husbandry. Through his regular efforts and dedication in the field, he has implemented a
number of schemes for its improvement in their respective fields.
Shri. Brijmohan Agrawal is the Member Director of Jaycees, an Indian politician and member of the BJP, and is a cabinet minister for education in the Chhattisgarh state.
Shri. Brijmohan Agrawal heads the ministries of Legislative Affairs, School Education, Endowment, and Culture, other than Public Works and the Tourism Departments. At his early
stage itself, he became an M.L.A. and was also intricately involved in his party in diverse important positions.
Shri. Brijmohan Agrawal, have joined ABVP, Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad in 1977 which made his entry in student politics. Then, he became keenly involved and held major
positions in students’ politics.
As a young leader, Shri. Brijmohan Agrawal has made a number of innovations in the respective fields. Since 1990, he was a successful M.L.A. from the Raipur seat. He always
supported a number of young people to take participation in the party activities.
As a social leader he has initiated a number of activities like providing fund for the development of health and education of poor children, helping in marriage of girls from poor families. He also helped the disabled people by providing them tricycles.
