Th e process of creating the dance studio was the fi rst introduction in design-ing with relation to space. It utilized knowedge of materials and working with them to understand model making and physical design conceptualization.
Th e project drew inspiration from Italo Calvino’s poem Valdrada from La Citta Invisivile. Th e poem described Valdrada as a city refl ected on water, therefore infl uenc-ing the design of this project to be based on refl ections, images and perceptions.

Th e concept of designing the House for a Musician was to create a house on a slope for a pianist. Two progrommatic elements of site analysis and music analysis had to be conducted to form a successful parti. Th e project was conducted with thorough research and precedent and brought together knowlege from visual communications, materials and studio.

Th e architects of the muse-um, Herzog and deMeuron used the existing building which was a powerplant to design the modern mu-seum. Th is allows for the building to sit within its local context but also explore new ways of con-structing with the mate-rials common to the In-dustrial age and exploiting them.

Dumbo is colorful in its people, traditions and history. Th is museum is a place that tells the story of the Brooklyn Bridge while interacting with the community it thrives in. As observed, the Bridge celebrates the entrance into Dumbo; once fi lled with illegal artist residences in in-dustrial warehouses, it is now an openly artistic melting pot. Th e museum intends to invite both visitors and locals to a place they can learn and experience through gallery spaces and interac-tive labs. Th e museum explores the Hidden and Exposed secrets of DUMBO and off ers tourists and local artists and opportunity to gain insight on the Brooklyn Bridge and the rich culture it welcomes one into,
