Th e process of creating the dance studio was the fi rst introduction in design-ing with relation to space. It utilized knowedge of materials and working with them to understand model making and physical design conceptualization.

Th e project drew inspiration from Italo Calvino’s poem Valdrada from La Citta Invisivile. Th e poem described Valdrada as a city refl ected on water, therefore infl uenc-ing the design of this project to be based on refl ections, images and perceptions.

Th e table design brought forth the idea of using a book as a physical and fi g-urative aspect of design. Th e table of tension was infl uenced by Crime and Punishment and attempts to portray the struggle and chaos exhibited through the novel.

Th e design build project incorporates student designs in the fi rst real world condition. For this exercise, I worked in a group to design innovative dorm furniture for the freshman dormitories in East Halls at Penn State University.

Th is project encompassed many soft -wares pertinant to digital architectur-al design. I learned to digitally pro-cess and depeict my precedent house, Casa Malaparte through SketchUp, Photoshop and Revit.

Th is project was the fi rst step in understand-ing the Enoteca project. It involved design in the fl at-pack style with production on the CNC Router. Th e wine rack was developed in a group of three and serves as the inspiration for the wine wall in my Enoteca.

Th e concept of this project was to have students re-design a pre-ex-isitng condition. Th e site was Mr. Charles, a shop in downtown State College that we had to transform into a wine bar and art gallery.

Th e concept of designing the House for a Musician was to create a house on a slope for a pianist. Two progrommatic elements of site analysis and music analysis had to be conducted to form a successful parti. Th e project was conducted with thorough research and precedent and brought together knowlege from visual communications, materials and studio.

Th e construction on the geodesic sphere was a small group eff ort which was done in two parts : design of the structure and design of the facade. Th e main concept of this project was to exhibit knowlege learned of the geodesic structure as well an creative facade design.

Th e architects of the muse-um, Herzog and deMeuron used the existing building which was a powerplant to design the modern mu-seum. Th is allows for the building to sit within its local context but also explore new ways of con-structing with the mate-rials common to the In-dustrial age and exploiting them.

Th e Analytique of the tate Modern Museum allowed an exploration of a museum space that could infl uence the future museum design of the NCMA project. Th e Tate Modern Museum tells the story of combining the past and the present to serve as an attractive tourist spot in the once industrial region of London.

Dumbo is colorful in its people, traditions and history. Th is museum is a place that tells the story of the Brooklyn Bridge while interacting with the community it thrives in. As observed, the Bridge celebrates the entrance into Dumbo; once fi lled with illegal artist residences in in-dustrial warehouses, it is now an openly artistic melting pot. Th e museum intends to invite both visitors and locals to a place they can learn and experience through gallery spaces and interac-tive labs. Th e museum explores the Hidden and Exposed secrets of DUMBO and off ers tourists and local artists and opportunity to gain insight on the Brooklyn Bridge and the rich culture it welcomes one into,
