“ Shiva “ is a five letter word. Panchatcharam means a five letter word.

The word “Kiran” signifies those happenings that take place in the

heavens above us and the cosmic waves that reaches us from the realsms

of outerspace.

According to the tenets of our religion in the world above us resies the

Devas, there also exists another world where our forefathers reside. An

exercise the son of the house will have to do without fail every year is to

follow the process of giving shradh to his forefathers.

Following this ritual every year without fail will help that family to

prosper. The forefathers would direct us to a good guru. If

ceremoniously followed on the appointed date by the dead person sons,

this pooja would bless him and his family members immensely.

It would yield better benefits if both the son and his wife are alive during

the process of this ritual. In the Hindu tradition the son of the family

usually does this.

Some families would not have a boy child and a few others would not

know anything about this process.

The blessings of the shradh is received by the family of that dead person

with the assistance of Lord Shiva. If our forefathers bless us, receiving

our prayer through ritual of Shradh it is Lord Shiva, a form Rudr who is

the media through wom the blessing reach us.

For this grace, to reach us we need the help of star

“Utharshad”(Uthiradam), whose planet is Surya (Sun) zodiac signs

Simh(Leo). This shloka can also help to keep in check all diseases that

due to too much heat in the body.

Piles, Constipation,Fistulla, are some of the complications that arise due

to too much of heat in the body. Some people have their ovaries or

semen wasted when they urinate, all medical ailments for women like

breast cancer this shloka has the ability to keep in check.

Inter-religions marriage sometimes hinder this process of giving

shradh. In suc h cases it becomes difficult to receive the blessings of our

forefathers.

This shloka would help resolve such problems constant reciration would

Sathyam in tamil, Rahu is the sovereign planet for this star, who resies

in all the twelve zodiac houses.

The yogic exercises that are being practiced today were written by a

sage Patanjali. These were a set of postures and guidelines for doing

such exercises. It is otherwise called “HATHA YOGA”. Regulating our

breathing patterns is called “PRANAYAM”. This is also a part of yoga.

If Pranayama which regulates our breath is not followed and practiced

properly it would lead to various complications. It will lead to the nerves

intertwining with each other and cause sprains in various parts of the

body. The intestines too would knot themselves up. No doctor would be

able to relieve us of this pain. If we need to succeed in this endeavour of

practicing yoga postures we need to pray fist to a Goddess (A female

God). The supreme lord for this is Badrakali, sublord the planet Rahu.

Great saints and seers like Ramakrishna Paramahamsar, also practiced

yoga. They would do these exercises during the normal course of their

day. Saint Ramakrishna taught his form of exercise to Swami

Vivekanandha, his principle devotee. When Vivekanandha compared the

exercises that Ramakrishna taught him to that of Pajanalis yoga sutras,

he found that Ramakrishna,s exercises were more difficult to practice.

Yogic exercises are very simple to people like Ramakrishna.

They would dream that this prayer for a child is being answered by their

being answered is a very special happening. This prayer for progeny will

not be granted very soon. We would have to practice our mind to bring

body and soul in our prayer and tune our prayer effectively. It is not

So far the 27 stars were detao;ed, their influence on our lives and how

each problem a person faces could be avoided by reciting these shlokas.

With fervor for a long period of time. It would grant all the blessing that

we are so earnelstly looking for

From the nest shloka onwards it has been detailed how

Aadhiparashakthi has branched herself to various other sub forms or

shkthis. To give direction and solve the complex problems that human

beings face during their normal course of life.

Each and every planet has a colour-most of them are golden in colour,

The outer surface of the Earth is gold, Saturn is black in colour but the

vehicle he travels on is golden in colur.

To purify gold we need fire, this is called Rudram.

All YAGNAS(sacrificial fire)are conducted before fire, all shlokas are

told sitting in front of fire(agni). The manthras we recite during a pooja

go into this fire and travel upwards through the ozone layer. The

common belief among scientists these days is this ozone layer is getting

damaged.Contradicting opinions exist, but it is not easy to damage this

layer.

Reciting this shloka is equal to conducting a yagna before fire. In all

temples they light lamps to invoke the blessing of the deity. There is a

particular SEVA conducted in all temples, called ‘Deepa Alankara Seva’

Aadhiparasakthi is believed to finally rest inside this flame. We would

receive the blessing of nine different forms of her shkthis.

There are three types of forms of worship they are Manthra bhakthi,

Yenthra bhakthi and Thanthra bhakthi. People resort to many types of

worship to attain God. Reciting this shloka is like equivalent to following

all these three forms of Bhakthi. The benefit of reciting this shloka is

that, Aadhiparashakthi would enter our homes as a combination of all

these three forms listen to our prayers and showering us with all the

genuine blessings.

In house hold where there are small children their parents would dress

them and adorn them with various gold ornaments. Similarly the idol in

the temple would be decorated and adored as per the devotes wish. This

is also a form of Bhakthi. Each jewel that we use to adorn

Aadhiparashakthi has a deep meaning behind it. In the previous shloka

she came in the form of fire now in this shloka she transforms herself to

shine like gold and comes with Yathukulanandan (Krishna)

Recitation of the shloka at our house hold is equal to doing a

Imagine making “BAEL LEAF” made from gold and adorning

Aadhiparashakthi’s power which is present as various forms at various

places are all collected and given to her favourite son Krishna. She

adorns herself with ten types of weapons which too she has given to her

favourite son. Each of the weapons represents one incarnation of lord

Vishnu, which is the Dasaavathar

Worship of the cow is considered very scared in the Hindu tradition, but

in today’s world it is close to impossible. This pooja is also called as

“Gopooja”.

The world that we are living is an illusion in other words “Maaya”, We

form of our maaya.

The Maaya of Aadhiparashakthi too, has been divided into nine different

durgas or shakthis. All of them have her resemblance and are considered

a form of her maaya, the first durga to emerge from Aadhiparashakthi

was “Vana durga”.

Vanam denotes a forest, usually a forest would have a lot of trees,

shrubs, plants. The first plant that grew in this forest was the scared

Basil Leaf(Thulasi). This thulasi is believed to be the favourite of her son

Vishnu.

Our habits will depend immensely on the situations that we grow up. The

methodology we adopt for our prayers would also depend on our habits.

A house of fish monger would smell of fish and his prayers will depend

largely on his habits. In a Brahmins household his prayers would be

similar to his habits.

Most of us do not say prayers or follow any rituals that are actually

specified by the holy texts. We tend to follow a system of prayer that is

more akin to our surrounding. Readers should please note that, we are

not trying emphasise the caste differences here.

As per the rituals, when we visit Thirupathi we should attire ourselves in

silk, this would be highly impossible in these times. To fulfill everyone

desire who worship her,Aadhiparashakthi adapts herself to the various

methods that people resort in praying to her. She thus transforms herself

as Sulini Durga, the second of the nine durgas who receives the prayers,

offerings of all the devotees who pray to her and blesses them with all

the abundance irrespective of their caste or creed

Reciting this shloka will give us the blessing of the Mother

The next durga is Shabari durga. She manifested herself on this earth

before the birth of Lord Sri Rama and was there to welcome him. She

changes her form to a sacred basil leaf(Thulasi)and spreads everywhere

in a forest.

Lord Ayyapa who is a Brahmachari is believed to be sitting on her lap.

This hill is called Shabari Mala.

At this point a question may arise that how a “BRAHMACHARI” like

Ayyapa can be sitting on a woman ?

The Pancha bhootas or the five elements of nature are also present in

our body too. Once a person knows to cleanse himself and become one

with the supreme being he fails to discriminate between a man and a

woman.

The five openings that we have in our body eyes, ears, month, nose and

the excretory organ would clean themselves up. There would be no more

excretion of dirt through these holes.

The beneficial aspect of reading this shloka is that it would clear us of

all disease that we may suffer due to the improper functioning of the

Pancha Bhootas that operate through the five holes in our body.

Our life style would change for the better, we would start to think more

about God,spend more time in meditation, involve ourselves more in

religious avtivities, practice Nama Jabam(Incessant recitation of God’s

name).

Imbalance in the functioning of the five elements of nature, Air,

Water,Fire, Sky and Earth can be overcome. Disasters such as Tsunamis

and Earthquakes can be prevented.

This world houses mainly two types of personalities,a Theist and an

Atheist. Believer and a non Believer.l An atheist refuses to believe in the

existence of God, but at some point of time if he/she is possessed by an

evil spirit, where does he/she go.

Any moment of medical treatment can do nothing, no Doctor would be

able to cure this. He/She would have to probably visit some temple or

take the help of some diviner who specializes in driving out evil spirits.

Certain people may fall prey to a revengeful attitude of some others who

might be jealous of them. The Mahabaharata war was fought because of

this revengeful attitude.

If an evil spirit possesses a person it may create very serious problems, a

In normal course of our life even after chasing at the material goals,

there may exist a nagging question in the back of everyone”s mind,

direction to lead a fuller life to avoid feelings of Jealousy greed and not

The next form of Aadhiparashakthi is that of Lavana meaning salt,

Lavana Durga is her name, she would guide in this quest of our in

seeking God and help us to maintain a right balance our material and

spiritual goals

This durga is a form of ‘Lalitha Durga’, She does’nt speak too much,

silence is her forte. Praying to her would encourage us to research

about ourselves and ask such questions,

Who are we ?

Where do we come from?

This could finally lead us to a contemplative silence (Mouna)and then

make take a small but a firm step towards developing spirituality.

Being in the family life fulfilling all responsibilities during this birth and

still finding timeto spend sometime e in silence to comprehend this third

dimension in our lives is a very rare blessing and would be very difficult

to accomplish.

Recitation of this shloka would do just that, She would grant us a

blessing where we would receive all the material benefits required for

this life and at the same time would give rise to a situation where we

pray to God and understand more about our spiritual self even while

being with our family and leading life of a house holder.

If would help us balance both spirituality and our material needs, entire

family would then join in prayer with us. She is thus called Lavana

Durga.

another name for the Lord of seven hills Balaji. All the powers that Lord

Krishna possess was vested on him Aadhiparasakthi.

To help Lord Krishna manifest as Rukmani Krishna shakthi, Radha

Krishna shakthi, Yashoda Krishna shakthi and Devaki Krishna shakthi it

was Aadhiparasahkthi who was the primordial force behind it.

A mother leaves her child in the day care centre, after finishing her work

This shloka was written exclusively thee are seven nerve centres in our

body, likewise the base for all music are the seven musical notes

S,R,G,M,P,D,N. All ragas are divided into three different divisions. Each

division represents a particular range to which a carnatic musician can

sing. There a few singers who can sing combining all the three divisions.

The sound vibrations of a singer would start from the stomach, and then

reach the base of his toungue.

When we listen to people singing the Ragamalika it would as though one

nose is blocked and his voice would looks as though the person is

singing with a blocked nose. One in a lakh among singers can sing this

Ragamlika today.

The range of most of the singers these days is very limited and their

voice range is only up to the first division, they are not able to even

reach the second division.

Carnatic musicians of yesteryeats would start singing in the third

division.

If a song is composed in Ragamalika and sung by an exponent in singing

it, then Aadhiparashakthi would listen this Ragamalika dividing herself

as ‘Nava narani’ as nine different Durgas and protect us from all

misfortunes. Reciiting this shloka is equivalent to singing the

Ragamalika.

If each member of the family, hold a particular portfolio as a minister all

the right time in our households.

We would listen keenly if someone talks praising us and feel happy about

it. These nine Durgas too would listen to this Ragamalika sung praising

them, to their hears content, Aadhiparashakthi listens to this song as

Nilambari.

Lord Narayana also sings a song in praise of his mother, who bestowed

him with all these special powers, He wakes her up from her sleep and

then sings. She is also called as Nava Narani Bindhu, a mixture of the

nine Durgas.

Recitation of this shloka would remove all the negative influences or

Doshas from our lives.

Some people would have promised to visit a particular temple or

perform a pooja after one of their prayers get answered, they would have

forgotten to do this and this would lead to a lasting impression in that

family, in view of this that family would suffer from certain

mishappenings which would even go on to affect the generation next. In

certain cases some people would give a curse on the family, which would

lead to some adverse effects.

All such ill effects could be avoided by reciting this shloka. The word

“Karma Nivarani Shakthi means the potency to cure all diseases. Ronam

meaning the disease which attacks would be a permanent one. Such

problems can be avoided by reciting this shloka.

Lord Ganapathy, the remover all obstacles is said to have written the

epic Mahabharatha. This epic along with the other, The Ramayana are

considered the tow foremost works in India. From the epic

Mahabharatha we received the Baghavad Gita as told by Lord Krishna

she kindles Lord Ganapathys kundalini and prepares him to write this

divine epic.

The word “Mooladhara Vrithobhavasya” denotes this KUNDALINI

SHAKTHI. This kundalini resembles a snake trapped inside a basket, as

soon as the lid is lifted, the snake would rise its hood, similarly this

Kundalini shakthi would rise once it is tapped. Once this shakthi rises it

would enable a person achieve greater realms of spirituality. The

awakening of Lord Ganeshs’s Kundalini was initiated by

Aadhiparashakthi.
