Short Manual for the Usage of the Vehicle Configurator

You have the possibility to configure vehicles of the brands Audi, BMW, Ford, Mer-cedes-Benz, Opel, Renault, Seat, Skoda und VW and others.

After clicking the menu item "Vehicle order" in Carpool on the "Vehicle configura-tor" button, the system will lead you to the vehicle ordering information. Now select "Vehicle configurator" and chose your Country. Then the configurator with the “VOLKSWAGEN” icon opens. The vehicle configurator can be used also without login.

Registration to the system is only required if you want to save the configured ve-hicle in the system or to order it. The required data for registration into the system will be entered under “Register”. The initial (first) registration must be made through the intranet of the ThyssenKrupp AG. After registration into the system, you can get access to the system also from home via the internet and your stored user login.

To save vehicles the login into the system is needed. Therefore you can register yourself in the following mask.

Your password must have at least 6 characters. To guarantee a better security, it is appropriate that your password is a combination of letters (Characters) and numbers. By clicking “Send” your password will be saved. After sending you will receive following message: Welcome to the Fleet Ordering System. You have successfully registered. You can log in directly using your ‘log in name’ and your ‘password’. You will also receive an e-mail with your access data in a few minutes. Under: my profile You can change your password at anytime. By clicking „save changes“ your password will be saved. Each three (3) months you will be asked to change your password. If you have for-gotten your password, please click on the button “forgot password” at the registra-tion mask and fill in your e-Mail-address.

If you are logged in Fleet Ordering and not use the system for ca. 15 minutes, you will be disconnected for safety reasons. Not saved information will be lost. If you want to continue with the configuration you have to start the application again.

If you want to login into the Fleet Ordering system (www.fleet-ordering.de) out of your office, additionally you need a contract number:

Now you can log into the system www.fleet-ordering.de also from the internet.

After registration the start page will appear with following message:

By clicking the button „View“ on the right at the bottom of the screen you can blank the header.

Navigation: The navigation menu is switched to the top of the screen to assure a better usage of the screen. It will appear, if you move your mouse cursor over the header of the page.

You will be able to choose between following applications:

By moving the mouse cursor over the appropriate items, the corresponding processing options will appear on the second level.

On the right part of the navigation menu your user information will be shown.

By clicking the vehicle configurator you will have the possibility to choose your brand and to configure the model:

The individual steps of the configuration are: "New configuration" Selection of a brand. Selection of the model series and type. Use the selection buttons to select your choice of vehicle to the requested perfor-mance, engine type, gear and equipment version features. On the right side you will find the configuration menu. This menu shows you the process step of your current configuration. After selecting the equipment details, there will be an automatically feasibility check by the system to check, if your selected configuration is possible. Please wait with proceeding of your configuration until the symbol (processing) disappeared. If the selection of the equipment detail was successful, a green tick in the configura-tion menu will show you, that your option has been chosen. In the right navigation bar you can select your requested exterior paintwork, interior equipment and special equipment in any order. By clicking on the corresponding equipment group at the right navigation bar, you can limit your selection.

The button „overview“ will show your current configured vehicle. You can also print your configuration. By clicking the equipment items on the right navigation bar you can change your configuration again. By clicking „save“ you can save your configuration and send the order to Carpool. The saved configuration can be found under the button „saved vehicles“ at anytime.

Please click on the button "save vehicle and send to Carpool".

Action-Buttons:

In the different dialogues, which contains your list of vehicles, e.g. „saved vehicles“ or „ordered vehicles“ you will find various action buttons. Under „saved vehicles“ you will find your saved vehicle configurations, which then can be changed or ordered.

By clicking the buttons following actions will be initiated:

change configuration

print configuration (open print view)

open configuration as PDF-file

request (anfordern) / order configuration

delete configuration

If you will not finish the following required steps in Carpool right now, please make sure, that you will note the transaction number, which will be generated by the sys-tem. The transaction number is mandatory for the further processing of the vehicle order in Carpool! On this page you will have the possibility to push the Carpool button. You will be lead automatically to the page “parked vehicles“. Please enter the transaction number of the vehicle configurator

You will be lead to the following pages. Please fill in the requested information and finish the process by clicking on the button „save“:

After saving the information following page will appear. Now you can create a PDF-order document and can initiate the vehicle order by clicking on the button “retrieve vehicle”.

The company, driver and vehicle information will be shown to give you the possibility to check them. The vehicle information can be added by the requested delivery date and a personal name. With the personal name it will be easier for you to find the ve-hicles in the system later on. If the sending of the vehicle configuration was successful, it will appear following text message: „vehicle order has been forwarded“. A receipt confirmation of your order will be sent to you per e-Mail. Therefore please make sure, that the e-Mail address you will fill in is correct.

Changes of ordered vehicles from the Fleet Ordering System are no longer possible. Subsequent changes can be made only through the supplying dealer or your fleet management. Therefore please get in contact with your responsible contact person. For questions regarding the vehicle, which cannot be answered by the system, please contact the fleet management.
