OverviewThe student will learn the basics of firearms safety, nomenclature and marksmanship.

This is a 4-hour course designed for the new or inexperienced shooters. Class time will cover safety, function and marksmanship. Students will be allowed to shoot .22 cal handguns or bring their own handgun and ammo. For those students still looking for the right handgun, they will be allowed to purchase their own ammo and get free gun rentals.

OverviewThis is a “must have” class for the average handgun owner (beginner & experienced). Continuing with the training received in Fundamental handgun, this course expands on to new techniques. This class will prepare the student for the skills and confidence needed for other handgun courses. The student will start the process of shooting on the move, from low light, malfunction clears and reloading.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR

Ed Stock has been in Arizona law enforcement for 35 years with the Arizona Department of Public Safety. He is an Arizona POST certified instructor and POST certified firearms instructor. He is also certified by the U.S. Treasury as a federal firearms instructor. Mr. Stock is the senior rangemaster at Gunsite* having taught there for 25 years. He has taught numerous classes to local, state and federal law enforcement as well as law enforcement from other countries. While on active duty with the US Army in lraq he taught weapons classes to both U.S. and coalition forces.
