Shirley Michaels has been active in Agility & Obedience for over 20 years. She has over 60 MACHs on 3 different breeds. She has found that not all dogs come with Drive—that with some breeds you just have to build it. Rather than get a dog, just for agility, Shirley decided to train the breed she loves and build the drive. Her four American Eskimo dogs all compete at over 5 years old and they all love what they do.

The past 4 years I have made Invitational Finals with 3 of my dogs & ended in final placements 3 out of the 4 years. For the past four years, Shirley has made the Invitational Finals with three of her dogs and ended in final placements three out of the four years.

Shirley lives in St. Petersburg, where she trains her own dogs as well as teaches other dog and handler teams from foundation to competition agility. She believes in making sure training is always fun & highly rewarded.
