The Nyas, founded on 18 May 2007, works in collabo-
ration with a sister organisation Shiksha Bachao Ando-
lan Samiti (Campaign Committee for Saving Educa-
tion) The objective of the Nyas is to find and establish
alternatives to the present education system in India by
changing its "syllabus, system, methods and policy" in
an effort to "Indianise" it. Nyas continuously organizes
national level workshops, seminars, conferences regu-
larly to take the opinion from eminent academicians &
experts to formulate the visionary documents for Indi-

MARATHWADA UNIVERSITY, NANDED
The University has been named after Swami Ramanand
Teerth the Doyen of the Hyderabad liberation struggle
and also a renowned educationalist and social activist.
The University is catering to southern part of Marathwada
Region of Maharashtra State and has been reaccredited
with ‘A’ grade by NAAC.

Shri Guru Gobind Singhji Institute of Engineering and
Technology (SGGSIE&T) is established on 17th Decem-
ber 1981 with 100% financial aid from Govt. of Maha-
rashtra and approved by AICTE, Govt. of India.
Institute has excellent track record of publications with
recent statistics as 1200+ peer reviewed publications,
8000+ research citations, 25 patents filed and two award-
ed. Many faculty members act as reviewers for interna-
tional journals and have published 46 books.
Establishment of Innovation Laboratory, incubation
centre and participation of students in various inno-
vation projects is a key feature of the institution.
Institute organizes national level STTP, workshops,
seminars, conferences regularly. Institute hosted
three prestigious international conferences last year
in collaboration with national and international
premier institutes.
ABOUT WORKSHOP
This workshop will provide a platform to formulate
vision documents for the growth of quality tech-
nical education in India and will pave way for the
sustainable development of technical institutions in
India.
This National Workshop will be attended by Head
of Technical Institutions, Eminent Academicians,
Technical Experts and Scientist from Industries and
R&D Organizations, Policy Framers and Students.
Keeping in view the present challenges in Tech-
nical Education various Workshops are organized
in different Prime Technical Institute in India. The
aim of these workshops is to improve the quality of
technical education in India.
