About the AuthorsBob Hart is the city manager of Kennedale, Texas, located in the Dallas/ Fort Worth metropolitan area. He has served as city manager of five other small and midsize Texas cities, and during his tenure, these cities have enjoyed significant national recognition. Mr. Hart currently serves on the Accreditation Council of the American Public Works Association and the First Tier Suburbs Council for the National League of Cities.

Geoffrey H. Wold, CPA, CITP, CMA, CISA, CGEIT, CRISC, CMC, CFSA, specializes in IT security and controls, business continuity planning and management, and technology planning and management. He holds a BA in mathematics and an MBA in accounting and information systems. Mr. Wold performs and directs business continuity consulting projects for the public sector. His experience includes risk assessments, business impact analysis, continuity strategies, written plans/procedures, training, testing and maintenance.

Peter C. Young, Ph.D., holds the 3M Endowed Chair in International Business, and in that position is responsible for global business education initiatives at the Opus College of Business—University of St. Thomas. There he developed two highly successful international MBA courses of-fered in London on global financial services and on global risk management. He is considered one of the world’s leading authorities and educators on the subject of risk management, and has written extensively about the subject.
