Duties and Responsibilities:

- More than 15, Years’ experience in the field of Protective Coatings, that covering the operative and technical support, project Planning and management , carrying out field testing/Evaluation for Abrasive/Coating Materials, Equipment, Applications and quality control inspection for protective coating/painting activities as follows:

- Coating QC Team Leader, taking overall responsibility of the supervision and coordination of coating inspection/Inspectors ensuring that all quality matters were adhered to

- Conducting in-house training for All individuals/departments associated with the implementation and planning of protective coatings projects

- Supporting the production and planning departments for cost estimating, planning and control of protective coatings projects

- Involving with engineering department to identify the conflicts or discrepancies on client specification and advising about the design considerations for corrosion prevention

- Preparing technical Queries, Concision and field change requests based on project needs to meet the requirements of international standards and project specifications

- Selecting of coating materials and paint systems considering the indeed environments and surface preparation grades and the durability/performance to be expected for corrosion prevention

- Good knowledge and understanding of Protective Coatings Inspection duties, inclusive of all health & safety aspects

- Performing Procedure Qualification Trial (PQT) and Pre-Production Trial (PPT) prior to start of the project to verify that the application procedure and ITP are adequate to achieve the specified as-applied coating

- Application monitoring and quality control of Protective coating system including zinc rich primers, alkyd, epoxy, acrylic, coal-tar, Anti-fouling, Polyesters, epoxy impregnated fiber-glass system (lining), Plant and Field Application of Fusion Bonded Epoxy (FBE) Internal/External, Ceramic Reinforced Composite, Visco-Elastic Coating, insulation, PE, PP, FJC also coating maintenance systems

- Supervising and Inspection of FJC , Splash zone and maintenance coating for offshore platforms

- Review contractors /subcontractors’ procedures, Inspection test plan and testing of painting system for offshore and onshore of new installation and maintenance projects

- Technical evaluation for painting, coating offers submitted from many suppliers at field as per as specification and requirements.

- Carrying out and report a coating failure analysis and proposing the corrective and preventive actions

- Qualification and performance Evaluation of coating application and inspection team (Inspectors, Painters, Abrasive blasters, and Crew supervisors) also testing of blasting and painting equipment as per standard methods
