A decommissioning/groundbreaking cere-mony is Sunday, April 28. At this ceremony, we’ll decommission the original church building (not to be confused with the current Worship Cen-ter!) and break ground for the new building. The original church building – the tan brick building known in recent years as the school library

SUNDAY SCHOOL Sunday school classes for all ages will not meet on Easter Sunday, April 21.

LIT & LEARN Children ages 2-4 along with their parents will enjoy the Fiesta themed story, crafts, songs, and educational activity Thursday, April 25, 9-10 a.m. in the portable building room 52. This event is pre-sented by Shepherd of the Hills staff and is FREE.

SENIOR SHEPHERDS LUNCHEON The Senior Shepherds will be lunching at Luby’s, 4541 Fredericks-burg Rd. on Thursday, April 25, 11:30 a.m. RSVP to Sonja Godwin, 210-408-0787.

SHLC SEEKING BOOKKEEPER Shirley Yoakum, after years of faithful and dedicated service, will be retiring by June 30, 2019. Shepherd of the Hills is seeking a part-time bookkeeper for the church. Interested individuals can receive the desired job qualifications and fill out an application in the church office during regular business hours Monday - Friday. Also, please provide a current resume.

SHLS WAX MUSEUM Join us in the Worship Center May 9 for the Wax Museum! Shepherd students in 1st and 2nd grades have researched an important char-acter in history. They have written and memorized a speech to inform people about their historical character. Students will be frozen wax figures until someone activates their character using a coin! Then watch the characters come to life! Times: Mrs. Rodriguez's First Grade Class: 1-1:30; Mrs. Guerrero’s Second Grade Class 1:30-2; Ms. Foley's Second Grade Class 2:00-2:30. There will also be an evening performance at 5:30 pm where both 1st and 2nd grade will perform together in the church lobby.
