Greek Gods-Poseidon

Lord of the sea.

Poseidon has a trident for his weapon.

The weapon could shake the earth or shatter any object.

He could control nature,and stop evil.

Today we see Poseidon's name in books and or movies. Like the movie, Poseidon Adventure

Greek Gods-Zeus

Lord of the sky.

His weapon is a thunderbolt.

Zeus is famous for his many affairs.

We hear about him all the time in movies. The movie Clash of the Titains

Greek Gods:Hades

God of the underworld.

He has a helmet that makes him invisible.

He rarely leaves the underworld.

He is important because he takes care of the dead.

We see his name now in movies and books. Like the movie Hercules.

Greek Gods: Apollo

God of music.

He can make sick people better by his joyful soft toned music.

He does daily tasks on his horses with his silver and gold bow. He would play his music to help sick people.

We see his name in books, stories, and myths. Like his poetry and songs.

Greek Gods: Hermes

God of thieves commerce.

He guided the dead to the underworld.

He invented weights and measures, some gym activities, and the musical scale.

He is in movies and he is famous for the things he invented. We know him by the things we use today, he invented.

He is the fastest God of them all.

Greek heroes: Perseus

He was born in gold then sent out to sea and a fisherman found him.

He was the founder of Peloponnesian city and was in the Trojan War.

He is known for his decapitation of Medusa.

He is a brave hero because he cut off her head.

Greek Heroes:Hercules

His name means greatest hero.

One of his parents is a God and the other a mortal.

Someone tried to kill him as a baby by putting snakes in his crib.

He is known for his strength.

We see him in movies like the one named after him. The movie Hercules.

Greek Myths: The boy who flew too high

Paedalus, Lcarus, and King Minos is in this myth.

Daedalus made wings out of feathers and wax.

He flew away from imprisonment by King Minos.

He ignored the warnings that the villagers gave him.

He flew too close to the sun and burned.
