MAD COW THEATRE is founded on the belief that the Theatre is a dynamic and powerful means of social understanding, as well as a hugely entertaining art form. Through the combination of passionate, skillful acting and compelling, insightful writing, nurtured by an attentive and ever-changing process, Mad Cow presents entertaining works of Theatre to an ever-widening audience–promoting, enhancing and celebrating the human condition through art.

Mad Cow Theatre is supported in part with public funds from United Arts of Central Florida, Inc.; The State of Florida, Department of State, Division of Cultural Affairs; The Florida Arts Council, The National Endowment for the Arts; The Downtown Development Board; and Orange County Arts & Cultural Affairs. A Great Nation Deserves Great Art!

Mad Cow Theatre is a 501(c) (3) organization and welcomes all donations including funds, materials, time and goodwill. We are especially delighted when audience members bring others to share the theatrical experience.

Mad Cow Theatre has forged many alliances and made many friends. This endeavor would not be possible without the generous spirit, passion and goodwill of the following individuals and organizations.

SHE STOOPS TO CONQUER

Brian Brightman (Charles Marlow) is celebrating his first production for Brian inside the sweet smelling confines of the Pasture here at Mad Cow. He wants to thank Mitzi and, of course, Katrina for inviting him here; this has been a wondrous experience. Brian would love to dedicate this trip back to the 18th century to BOB, his stunningly beautiful wife and precious daughter and last, but certainly not least, to his best Friend.

John Hemphill (Lighting Designer) is proud to continue working with one of the foremost theatres in the Orlando area. John has served in many roles here at Mad Cow including Stage Manager, Lighting Designer and Carpenter. Favorite productions with the herd include She Loves Me, Life Is A Dream, Gone Missing and Molly Sweeney. Away from the pasture, John serves as Lighting/Fountain Designer and Technical Director for SeaWorld

He has appeared at many other Central Florida stages in past years, including Bach at Leipzig for Empty Spaces, The Pillowman for Hubris Theatre, and Take Me Out at Theatre Downtown. He performed at this year’s Fringe Festival in Peg O’Keef Fixes the World, and has appeared in staged readings for PlayFest and Women Playwrights’ Initiative.

Stephen Lima (Tony) is honored and excited to be returning for his 7th production with the herd.
