Chapter 1
She awoke not really knowing where she was, and who she was with. The room just
smelled awful. The darkness made her blind to see who was around her. Who was
watching her. Because een with the faint light , she could still tell someone was
with her and he had no good intentions either.
! Who is there" she called, indeed it was a alid #uestion. There was no harm at all
in asking who was there and why he was there. $et at the same time should she be
worried about the intentions of the man or boy in #uestion. !it is only me here" she
heard someone say, but who was he .
Was he the creature that had captured her, the one who had brought her to this jail
and had left her alone for hours and hours. %t was not right, she needed to be let
go. &er freedom was at stake, she knew that much.
$et as a man appeared before her, S shecould onlystareedat the man him who
now held her, his wings a beautiful polished white. &is power shiningthrough his
brightwings to bright. %n front of her, stood a man with power that she was
unfamiliar. &is hands lighted a candle, as h she looked at the room ,his clothes
spread outall oer in messy bundles far and wide. The few scraps of the meal he
had eaten left behindin a siler plate. The jars and powders all standing around a
table that was decorated with suns and moons.!Will you marry me ! he murmured
asked, hisfeatures now isible in the candle light. &e was graceful and had long
el'n ears that were decorated by siler hoops. el'n ears and his graceful features
frightened her. She did not know what to replyto that #uestion, the thought of
marrying him sickened her due to his reputation of being a killer in her town. But
the mere thought of marrying such a man, someone not like herself. ( higher bornwas di)erent e*citing, this sent chills down her spine it was a new start to her
boring and dull life. +obody would beliee her that she had gotten such a man as
him if she eer returned to (lastt.
! Why me" she asked.
%ndeed it was a most curious thing, of why and when had he decided to take her as
his own.$et when had they met, when had their eyes touched and became one .
The that was the most impressie thing of all. was that s She knew that from the
minute that they touched eyes. They were bound together, but not fated for a life of
eternal happiness. aybe their story would be of one of hate , passion and most ofall challenges. ! %f % say no what shall you doto me" she asked him, the boy turned
around. &e was not old like she had seen him before. &e was much younger then
she had imagine. (t this sight she and frownedshe knew that an older wiser man
was more cautious. But a young boy was more chaotic . &is grey eyes showed no
amusement in her #uestion. +o sweet words followed nothing to con'rm that she
could make the right decision. There was only silence, until hemoed in a -ash and
in a sudden moement was inches away from her.

! %f you shall not then % maybe will take your youth turn you into an old woman, or
a loely birdto keep by my side , and maybe a or alittle pig to roast for dinner"
he whispered and grabbed one of her locks and twirled itin his 'ngers, she was
afraid that he would say something like that. $et as he opened the gate to her cell,
she slowly backed away to the farthest corner in her thisprison.
She was placid to his actionscalm, he she saw himwalked to the right andso
she walked to the left. %t was most unusual how they danced to aoid one another.
$et with a click of his 'ngers a dress fell. %t was beautiful, more beautiful then he old
tattered rags that she wore right now had before, yet would she accept such gifts.
%t was salmon colored a perfect color to combine her skin cream colored a perfect
salmon with big ribbons and pearls decorated its borders and neck. She would
look gorgeous. $et the dress was 't for a #ueen. She was no #ueen.
+o she could not accept it, because if she did then she would be accepting him, and
then what would happen to her. ! +o thank you" she whispered and saw him walk
towards her again, while she walked in the opposite direction he walked. %t was agame of cat and mouse , who would win and who would lose. The only one who
would loose would be him, she would neer gie up her freedom. %f she did then
nothing would be left for her . ust sadness and loneliness. +o life was to be lied.
She could not gie up just so easily, no it was more interesting to 'ght then to be
defeated. $etasthe man smiled a cold and calculated smiled d, and clicked his
'ngers a second time, she suddenly noticedhis cold hand on her back as he
e*posed himself. What was this trickery, it was not fair.
Was it magic, or something else that he applied to his bene't.bene't/! 0et me go"
she yelled once she would not repeat it, and saw him the manstep away. ! %t hadworked for some reason. ! Chi ef asa ul nada ! he!hestarted to say as she
understood him ery well. She knew this language, the ancient te*t called it theit
theriddles tongue. She thought it was long e*tinct. But she now had someone to
practice with ! Tu" she replied , yet the way that she said it was more guttural and a
little bit sluggish ! $ou do not wish to come with me" he repeatedthis time in
nglish as she nodded in a nomanner . ( wicked smile appeared on his face, his
ashis asshe did not know what the hell was going on with him. The 're that
showed in his eyes was eident and yet she was unprepared for what happened
ne*t.
But %in an instant she felt immediately taken a hold of. &er clothes ripped toshreds as she felt a hand sink inside her belly. The pain made her shrieks
louder, louder, yet he gagged her to #uiet down as she did not know what was going
on. Their bodies tumbled and twirled in the air as she was separated and pinned to
the -oor.-oor. ! $ou!$oubelong to me" he yelled, his hand held herheld herhair as
he scrapped her face on the -oor. &is act of possession done in one instant

cana" she yelled as she slapped him. &is hand coered his face as she saw his eye
socket drop as blood pooled down from where she had hit him.
She spat at him, her anger at the boys actions for treating her this way made her
hate him rather then respect him. There was an old saying that her people said. !
lnab ak wuoma it erport ! she remembered. ! Treat a woman with respect" sheyelled at himin nglish and then also in the riddlers tongue, sShe was not going to
stand to be treated like this. ! % will not loe you, % warn you my true loe will come
for me" she stated as she was not afraid . ! True loe.. We will see about that" he
said and cleaned the blood of his face. ! %ll nu es taa ek nai imao pop ! We will see
who shall win in this game" she stated as she felt herself let go. She could not
breathe. &e had done something to her.
The weight on her belly changed ,changed, her emotions, her sense of smell. She
felt something heay ,heay, something was happening to her. ! %k ban a eh huo !
he said as she stared at him in shock. ! +o .. he&ecould not hae done that spell.
Could he hae and yet she t. She was afraid now. Because, in the end he had won.! $ou now hae my child growing inside your womb" were the words he had used
yet this was also terrible news. There was no hope now for her to leae, she was
boudboundhere until ! Sinei ! hope came for her, and she did not know when that
would be or if she would surie to see it.
She stared at her belly, the sickness spreading inside of her as she felt terribly cold.
&er breath turning into hot air ,she could see it with her own eyes. The scream of a
child inside her head made her heart #uickened as she saw the man who know
walked away fropm her.

Chapter 2
She looked outside , the spring isible and clear as it had been a long winter. &er
patience was growing thinner and thinner She rubbed the belly that she had as she
did not know why the man had left her alone for a month. She turned around as she
noticed the door to her room opened. The man who was his serant leae food as
she turned to him. ! When will he come" she asked as she could not stand to not
look at the sun, the sky the moon.
The clouds begged her to be free, this child was ready for her to be released of such
a burden and yet at the same time she did not know if she cpould withstand
actually looking at the sight of the man once again in fromnt of her.
! y master commends your work , but he #uestions if ! she heard as she knew
that he was or must be wondering what was about to happen to the child. ! % do not
know, only he knows my condition and he does not send any doctors or anyone to
look at me so how can he e*pect to know my condition.
! oh he knows that someone such as you must know if the child is ready" he asked
as she was being asked bold #uestions but she would amuse the man aty leats for
a little bit. ! what if the awnsers that your master seeks are not pleased with his
wants and needs. ! she #uestioned as she knew that maybe there was a ery high
chance that their lies would be liked to that magician.
She wanted no part in it, yet as she felt the creature stir within her something inside
her eyes changed as she pushed and tried to stand still. ! %f he is not pleased then
there is no need to ask you to stay. ! he said suddenly and she smiled.
The sharp pain still hurting as she was not sure what was happening. ! Tell your
master that this child waits for no one" she said as she started to lie down. &er
breathings stilled as she was not sure what to do now. $et she felt it push through

her the image of a egg shaped hatch appearing inside her mind. ! or" she
whispered .
The door left wide open as she saw that the buttler was gone. This was her chance
and no one would notice when she was gone. +obody would care about her. $et as
she stood up, she limped and was held back by a 'rm hand. ! Where do you thinkyour going" he asked her as she fro3e in place. ! % wanted to leae and neer come
back" she stated as this was the truth. ! But then who would % introduce to my
family" she heard as she was not really hearing this.
$et as she started to see her balance fail her. The mans strong arms held her as she
was sure tjhat she needed his help more now then eer before because whateer
was about to happen she was dam sure that she wouild not know what to do uit was
after all her 'rst child and then who knew maybe she would be good at it.
aybe in the end there was nothing to be done, but to just watch and see what
things unfolded in front of her. ! (ll e'r ist erpriousce ! she whispered as she saw
the man smile and rub her cheek. ! % need a bed" she said , as she felt e*hausted
all of a sudden.
! %s it time" he asked as she cracked her neck. ! 4atience the little bastard is
coming" she called it $et she really did not know why she was actually stating that

! do you remember what % told you" she asked him as she turned around. The mere
sight of his confusion amused her and yet at the same time he was clueless to
where she was heading. But the prophechy that she had fortold was true. She
turned around as the man left her alone and picked up her pouch.
! l fa sa hu el" she heard in the back of her throat as she knew that it was herhusband. &er young boy coming into the room as she saw him hug her the sweat
trickeled his brow as she was e*citied with him. The boiy ahd no fault on his own ,
he was innocent in the party and the way that he was conceied. The second of
course was more natural.
By that time she had gien up and she know realiced that the changes that she wa
s going to face were real and yet at the same time maybe the man was not the
sihai. aybe he was just a man a man who was now in her husbands eyes and her
eyes as well. ! other what is wrong" she was asked as she now stood #uiet for the
longest time in all honesty she did not know .
%t was as if something else was taking a hold of her and making her feel things that
she had neer felt before it was new and e*citing and she wondered what would
follow. What wpath would she take would sh ebecoem lost or would she actually
'nally break away from this madness that had or was haunting her. 7nly her words
had strength and her mind nothing else maytttered. %f it was necessary then she
would also feel assured that she would hae to go ahead and make preparations to
moe.
Chapter 8
l fa sa hul" she continued hearing, the words weighed on her mind as she was not
so sure what she was imagining inside her mind. But the words in nglish meant
those who follow mistchief ! she smiled. &er husband was really something else
and yet the memory of how they had gotten here was eer present in her mind.
Those who shall seek ! she said as she transalated the worlds to the nglish
language. %t was a funny thing what had happened to her.
