Mr. Takahiro Tanaka President and General Manager
The world is warming
faster than we know as the Greenhouse gas emissions rising rapidly than predicted. We are already seeing the devastating effects of global warming around the world such as super typhoons, droughts, floods and heat waves.
As a private sector, we
must do our share to protect our planet that we live in, to avoid the worst impacts of climate change. The threat of climate change is nearly impossible to ignore. These will impact important species, habitats and ecosystems. Now, SPC’s powerful tool to protect our environment is through
education. SPC continuously provide environmental education to our employees as well as promote environmental awareness among our business partners. We spread the word by conducting environmental education to primary schools. We also collaborated with our Local Government Unit (LGU) and other Government Agencies to help preserve our environment through our Corporate Social Responsibility Projects.
Actively, Sharp (Phils.) Corporation responds to global climate change by
conserving energy and reducing carbon emissions. Change climate change by participating in annual Earth Hour event, complied with environmental regulations and continue to apply the principle of reduce, reuse and recycle.
Keeping these activities, we are continuously creating an
environmentally-friendly company that works together to have a world safe from the ravages of climate change.
Action is the key to a sustainable society. Time to Act now, get involved,
for a brighter, cleaner, safer and more just future for everyone.
