2007-2008 TQ PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS

ABSTRACT

This where you identify what you expect students to be able to do by the end of the unit you have planned. It is important to include what content standards will be covered.

The purpose of the scientific communication seminar is to ensure that participants in the 2007-2008 TQB and TQC Programs can produce quality posters of their unit plans, which is part of the final assignment for BIOL 601D and CHEM 601E. It is hoped that the TQ Program participants will post their posters again and/or find other ways to share the knowledge they have gained through the TQ Programs.

This is where you list all the resources needed to begin and complete the unit plan.

This poster presentation incorporates the”Guidelines for Unit Plan Poster” originally prepared by Dr. John Murdock and given to all TQ program participants during the Summer 2007 laboratory courses.

Posters will be printed for all TQ Program participants who meet the printing deadline of April 1, 2008

1, for the submission of

poster files to Tim Ford in the UMBC Illustrative Services in the Department of Biological Sciences at UMBC ([email protected]). Poster boards and push pins will be provided at the April 19th event.

(1Please note that this deadline has be revised and is earlier than the one

given in the Poster Presentation Assignment over the summer.)
