"Shaping the Way We Teach: Webinars"These series of Webinars is aimed at English as a Foreign Language (EFL) teachers, both those who are intending to pursue this field as a career and those already working in the field who would like to revise and refresh their methods and approaches. The materials and approaches presented should complement college courses such as Introduction to TEFL/TESOL Methods.These webinars explore important aspects of teaching English as a second or foreign language. The goal of these series of Webinars is to help you become a better teacher. You will be able to choose appropriate materials and apply varied classroom activities to improve your students study of English. You will also be able to better evaluate both your own and other teachers practices.

Shaping the Way We Teach English:Webinar Course Registration:

Before the Webinar: Join the Ning Social Network: http://shapingenglish.ning.com. This is a private network; the administrator needs to approve your membership before you have full access. This should take 1-2 days. The Ning network includes recordings of previous webinars, webinar resources, additional readings, and a discussion forum.

During the Webinar: (each webinar session lasts for 90 minutes) At the beginning, participants write down one or two questions or expectations for the session.

At the End of the Webinar: (suggested length for follow up activities: 30 minutes) Distribution of e-certificates ( when the series of 6 finishes)
