An apprenticeship takes you straight from school into professional life. Do you want to contribute your ideas and learn new things every day? You can do that at Swisscom. You will work with other employees from the very beginning in projects relevant to practice, and you will take on activities that require responsibility. Each day you will become more independent in your project area and will learn to act responsibly and prepare your-self for the modern working world.

LET’S GET TO KNOW EACH OTHER

Your training will start with a comprehensive introduc-tion phase. During it, you will get to know Swisscom and learn important things about your apprenticeship. You will also meet your personal coach, who will sup-port and advise you during your entire apprenticeship.

During your project, you will discuss your project goals with your coach and the project manager on a regular basis as well as your contributions and next steps. Once the project has been completed, you will evaluate your performance and discuss whether you have achieved your targets and whether the mutual expectations have been fulfilled. You will then determine which skills you wish to improve next. This means you can increase your knowledge step by step and develop your skills.

Your apprenticeship at Swisscom is as individual as you: You can determine the route to your final examination yourself. The training plan provides you with the flexibility to decide for yourself which skills and experience you want to take with you.

In order to achieve your goals, you will work and learn in projects which employ- ees from all areas of Swisscom announce on the Swisscom online marketplace. If you are interested in a project, you can apply with the person offering the project and need to reckon with competition from other trainees – just like in your future professional life.

An apprenticeship at Swisscom represents a big step towards independence. You will work in a flexible and mobile manner. If you have any questions regarding the training course, your coach is there to help you. You determine the course of your apprenticeship yourself and the progress you make.
