A MUSIC SHOW
There was a music show at Charlie's new school last weekend. He was really
interested in it. He came to the show with his uncle Sam. The show was at six o'clock
and they arrived there early at five o'clock. Charlie saw Betty, his classmate and
chose two seats next to her. Just a few people came. On the stage, some people
were preparing the last things for the show.
Many people came to the show area. Then, a man with a moustache got out and stood
on the stage to start the show. Everyone clapped and felt excited. A pop star
appeared. 'That's Justin Thompson, my idol', said Charlie. Everyone at the show
enjoyed Justin's songs a lot. After that, the man with the moustache appeared again
to hold a small music competition. The band played a short part in a song and anyone
who knew that song could play a musical instrument with Justin.
Charlie wanted to have a chance to play the drum with Justin but he was scared. The
man started to read the questions. Charlie still kept his hand down. After the man
finished reading the question, Betty's balloon flew up. Charlie quickly raised his hand
to catch that balloon. The man on the stage thought that Charlie wanted to answer
the quiz and gave him a chance. Luckily, Charlie could answer the question correctly
and he could play the drum with Justin. That was a wonderful music show for Charlie.
