Shaheen Hockey Development Program 2016 – 2017

The Date and Time

The 2016-2017 Shaheen Mini Hockey Development Program will commence on Saturday, 3rd September 2016. This program will runs on every Saturday. Children will divide as Under 6, 8, 10 and 12. Players age between 4 and 12 will name as ‘Mini Shaheen’, while players age between 12 to 14 will name as ‘Shaheen Youth’ (as of 1st September 2016). The program will end on May 2017. Separate summer program will be running in July and August yearly. To register your child, please complete the attached registration form and submit to the Hockey Development Coordinators, simply post it to the Shaheen Hockey Academy, No. 86 Woo Sung Street, Yau Ma Tei, Kowloon and also marked attention to ‘Hockey Development Coordinators’. Please note that faxed or emailed registration form will not be entertained or accept. Please photocopy for additional forms if required. One form per player. The attached registration form must be completed before participating in any training sessions for safety and liability reasons. Deadline for Registration on 26th August, 2016   The Age Group

All players will be allocated to an age group according to the table below. However, if you feel that your child should play in a different age group for safety reasons, then you must discuss this with the coordinators.

The Equipment

All players should have their own hockey stick, soft soled trainers for Shaheen Hockey Academy or AstroTurf shoes (no football boots allowed) for King’s Park Ground, wearing shin-pads & mouth-guard for safety reasons is a must during training. Player has no shin-pads and mouth-guard on, cannot play in any tournaments. In addition, long hair must be tied back or clipped. Every student should bring own water bottle for every training The Program Cost

Course fees of $2,500 include one playing shirt, one pair of socks for training and tournament use, ground fees and coaching fees. Please note that once an enrolment is made and accepted by Shaheen, the fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. Refund will be given only when application is rejected.

Shaheen reserves the right to change course time, venue and date due to some unforeseen reason. Parents will be notified by email on any changes beforehand whenever possible. No training will be held on Public Holidays. Players will be informed for any training cancellation by Whatsapp or Shaheen Sports Club official - Facebook. Any dispute of grouping distribution and acceptance, the decision of Shaheen Sports Club will be final. The Responsibility of Parent / Guardian

Each and every child playing in the course or taking part in any other activities arranged by must be accompanied by a Parent or Guardian who must be present at all times. Shaheen shall not be responsible in any way for the health, safety or good behaviour of any child attending any activities, whether or they are not registered players. All training sessions finish on time. Please ensure players are picked up promptly after the completion of the activity. If for T8 / Black rainstorm warning signals being raised during the training session, training will cease and parents are requested to pick up their child immediately. For correspondence, all message sent out by email only, and mobile number for emergency matters if any arise. All contacts must inform us for any changes.

send their children for training • T1 / amber rainstorm warning - normal • Training sessions may be cancelled at the discretion of Shaheen Sports Club if the training venue is

deemed dangerous by coaches due to other inclement weather conditions.
