About Us

We are manufacturers of Gears,  custom built Gear boxes and

precision machined components.  

We are in this industry since 17 years. S.G.Gears was started

with an vision to become a premier gear and precision

machined component manufacturer and achieve customer

satisfaction and retention through continuous improvement in

manufacturing practices for better quality and prompt delivery.

Our mission is to grow with our customers by establishing all

sort of gear cutting  and machining facilities to meet their

needs and to set up a “All Under One Roof” type set up by

June 2013

In line with our mission, ahead of Pune and Nasik unit

we are now in a process of a major expansion. 

With experience and self developed expertise we

have planned for a end to end gear manufacturing

facility.

We have facilities to manufacture all types of gears

i.e. spur, helical, straight bevel, spiral bevel

herringbone gears, Worms and Worm Shafts as well.

We also have a wide dimensional range for all these

types of gears.  

We as per our quality policy deliver 100% quality on

the committed date.

Our Products Include: Spur Gears (Dia 10 to 400, Module 0.5 to 8)

Helical Gears  (Dia 10 to 400, Module 0.5 to 8)

Worm Gears (Multi start worms can be cut on thread milling machine

having capacity of

1000 mm length)

Straight Bevel Gears (Dia 600, Module 10)

Spiral Bevel Gears (Dia 500, module 10)

Internal Gears (Dia 120, Module 4)

Hobbed Gears (Dia 630, Module 10 )

Shaved Gears (Dia 400, Module 8)

Ground Gears (Dia 800, Module 16)

Broached components (10 Ton, 1200 mm stroke and 20 ton 2000 mm

stroke)

Over the years S.G.Gears has achieved remarkable growth, we

have also established a niche product in form of Bevel Gears. We

as a organization see many opportunities in the future as well.

Straight Bevel Gears

We Can manufacture a wide range of

straight bevel gears till a maximum Dia

of 600 mm. We have nine

Straight Bevel Gear Generators

Installed.

We can Provide Straight bevel Gears in

Lapped Condition.

The Straight Bevel Gears will be

manufactured as per the Customer

Quality Requirement.

Contact pattern requirement, Backlash

requirement or any other quality

requirement can be fullfilled.

Spur & Helical Gears

We manufacture Spur and Helical

Hobbed Gears upto Dia1000mm and

8Module.

The Gear Quality Class can be

achieved as per customer requirement

and report confirming the quality class

will be provided if required by the

customer.

We also have Gear Grinding Facilities

which cover the Diameter and Module

Range of our Hobbed Gears.

We can Deliver Gear of DIN Class 7

Or AGMA Class11.

Custom built Gearboxes

We manufacture all components n a Gear box Assembly as per Customer specification and Assemble the gear box in-house.

Gear box assembled as per customer Drawings and Specifications.

We assemble Bevel Gear boxes, Worm Gear boxes ,spur and Helical gear boxes.

Splined Shafts

We are capable of manufacturing

internal as well as external splines.

We manufacture internal splines

with high accuracy and repeatability

using Gear Shaping machines and

Vertical Broaching Machine of

20Ton 2000mm Stroke.

External Splines are manufactured

using Gear hobbing Machine our

Maximum Hobbing Capacity Is Dia

1000mm 16Module.

Precision Machined Components

We manufacture Precision

Machined Components which

require high Accuracy and Precision.

We are capable of machining various

components, pump housings, gear

box housings etc as per the

customer quality requirements.

We have in house capacity of CNC

turning Centers, vertical machining

center and Horizontal Machining

Center and Turn Mill center as well.

Double Helical Gears

We are soon setting up a herringbone

gear manufacturing facility. This

Herringbone gear or Double helical gear

cutting facility will be installed and

productionised by June2013.

We will be capable of manufacturing

double helical gear with a central groove

and a herringbone gear with out a central

grove ie. a herringbone gear with an

apex.

Herringbone gears find application in steel

rolling mills, cement industry etc.

Herringbone Gears are used to balance

the thrust load.

Broached Parts With Internal Splines

We are capable of

manufacturing internal

splines with good accuracy

and repeatability.

Interanl spline for component

with Diameter 500mm can be

cut.

We generally cut

internal/external splines in

Steel, Stainless steel, Bronze

and Aluminium

Gear Analysis

We are capable of measuring and

analyzing all types of Gears ie. Spur

Gears, Helical Gears, Straight bevel

Gears, Spiral bevel gears, Herringbone

Gears, Worm and worm shafts. The

Gear quality class for all these types

can be determined.

The Gleason 475 GMS is a fully CNC

Gear analyzer machine which can

analyze all the above mentioned types

of gears up to 475mm diameter. The

gear quality report is machine

generated.
