Chapter 1: Introduction
This Consultant’s Edition of the San Francisco International Airport, SFO CAD Standard is a conclusive guideline for producing deliverable AutoCAD drawings. This manual defines the organization of architectural and engineering related data in two major areas: the requirements for submitting final deliverables, and the format of those final deliverables. It does not explain, nor will it replace, the overall objectives and requirements of an Airport contract. This manual should be used in conjunction with Airport contract specifications and/or agreements. If there are any discrepancies between this manual and Airport contract specification, please contact your Airport Project Manager or Asset Management for clarification.

Chapter 2: Requirements:
This chapter details the necessary requirements for submitting contract drawings and related documents. It is essential that all those involved in drawing development understand the requirements of this chapter if the completion of the contract is to be successful. Only drawings and documents that adhere to the requirements covered hereinafter will be accepted. Contract payments may be withheld if drawings do not meet specifications. All non-compliant drawings and contract related documents will be rejected and returned to the originator. Primary consultants and contractors are responsible for checking and complying with these requirements for all involved Airport contracts.
1. Provisions
The following are a list of Airport-provided AutoCAD files that shall be downloaded by the consultant at http://sfoconstruction.com/ for use in developing airport contract drawings:
a. AutoCAD files for Cover Sheet , Title Block, and Attribute files. See Chapter 4 - Cover Sheet and Title Block.
b. AutoCAD Template, SFO.dwt for drawing entities: Layers, Text Styles, Dimension Styles, and Symbols / Blocks. See Chapter 6 – Drawing Entities.
c. Custom Linetype file, SFO.lin. See Chapter 6 - Drawing Entities.
d. Custom Color Table files, BlackGray.ctb and BlackGray10Colors.ctb. See Chapter 6 - Drawing Entities.
e. Exception - The Basemap AutoCAD file will be provided only through special written request from the consultant, and not by downloading. To request the airport basemap contact Asset Management. See Appendix A – Contact Information, and Appendix B - Map Request and Release.
2. Data Format
a. The contractor shall use the latest release version of AutoCAD when creating contract drawings, unless prior written approval is requested and permission granted by AM. The same AutoCAD release shall be used during the entire project. See Appendix A – Contact Information.
b. The Airport shall designate new building numbers, room numbers, and door numbers. The contractor is responsible for obtaining these from the proper Airport designee. The PM will provide the appropriate airport contacts upon request by consultant.
c. Drawing units shall be decimal with one unit equal to one foot for engineering drawings. For architectural drawings units shall be architectural with one unit equal to one inch.
d. Airport specified control points and grid systems, as defined on the Basemap, shall be used to establish the drawing/project location.
e. Only one basemap, BMAPDATE.DWG, shall be used per contract, and its shared usage shall be via external reference, rather than inserting as a block. BMAPDATE.DWG, shall be renamed in accordance with Chapter 5 – Sheet Numbering, Revisions, and File Naming. The default coordinate system is SFO-B, and shall be used, unless otherwise stated as approved by the PM. See Chapter 3 - Coordinate System.

f. Contract drawing sets shall have a cover sheet and each sheet shall have a title block. Both cover sheet and title block shall be placed in Paper Space. See Chapter 4 - Cover Sheet and Title Block.
g. Sheet Numbers and File Names shall have a recognizable, one-to-one correlation. The electronic (AutoCAD) file name shall be located in a conspicuous place, near the border, on each of the drawing sheets. See Chapter 5 – Sheet Numbering, Revisions, and File Naming.
h. Only one Paper Space (Layout1) Tab is permitted per file. The paper space tab “Layout1” shall be renamed to include the name of the Color Table (.ctb) file intended for use when plotting, and only Airport-approved Color Table files shall be used. Style Table (.stb) files shall never be used. All drawing work shall be accomplished in Model Space (except the cover sheet and title blocks), at a scale of 1 = 1. See Chapter 6 – Drawing Entities.
i. All drawings shall be consistent and professional. See Paragraph 6.1.c.
3. Deliverable Format
a. All external reference files shall be attached as an Overlay (rather than Attachment) with Relative Path, unbound and located within the same folder structure allowing for relative path selection. The folder structure shall be maintained on the submittal media so as not to require the re-attaching of external references upon receipt by SFO.
b. All architectural drawings for new buildings shall have defined, based on the SFO-B coordinate system, one rectangular reference point (X,Y), at any column grid intersection, and either cooresponding grid-line angle. This point and angle shall be clearly labeled “SFO-B LOCATING COORDINATES”. See Chapter 3 – Coordinate Systems.
c. Blocks shall be created in layer 0 (zero) and no block may be nested.
d. All colors, linetypes, and lineweights shall be assigned bylayer via the layer properties manager. These entity characteristics shall not be assigned otherwise. The linetype scale shall be set in the drawing globally, appropriate with the viewport scale. Only in special cases where necessary for proper drawing presentation may any line or polygon entity have a linetype scale other than 1.00.
e. The final drawings must be tiled into Paper Space, layer set to 0, zoomed to extents, and purged prior to saving and closing.
f. DVD-ROM or CD-ROM are acceptable media types. Every disk shall be appropriately labeled with the Airport contract number and Airport contract name. Company name, date, disk sequence number, and installation instructions shall also be included.
g. Appropriate Color Table (.ctb) files shall be included. See Chapter 6 – Drawing Entities.
h. A tabulated Index of Sheets (.doc or xls) shall be included. The table shall be titled “Electronic File Submital Index – Contract ‘XXXX’”, and have three columns: Electronic (AutoCAD) File Name, Drawing Number, and Drawing Title. In addition, the table shall include a listing of file names and descriptions of external references. The description shall be placed under the heading of Drawing Title. See Chapter 5 – Sheet Numbering, Revisions, and File Naming.
i. At the time of preliminary drawing submittal (see contract specifications), 50% complete or greater, the contractor shall provide an electronic copy of the drawing sent to AM as a CAD Standard submittal. The media shall be delivered in accordance with the above format
j. As-built AutoCAD electronic files and hard copies shall be given to the PE or PM and a set of electronic files shall be delivered to AM through the PE or PM. See Chapter 7 – As Built Drawings.

Chapter 3: Coordinate Systems:
1. Rectangular Coordinates
Currently, San Francisco International Airport employs four rectangular coordinate systems: SFO-A, SFO-B, SFO-C, and SFO-D. Each is a local coordinate system established circa 1954 by the Airport. These local coordinates are defined based on physical features, such as runways, taxiways, roadways, buildings, and their surrounding areas. SFO-B is the primarily local coordinate system, defining the runways and outlying areas, while the remaining rectangular coordinate systems are rarely used. The airport also recognizes the SFIA95 coordinate system, which is based on the NAD83 coordinate system. SFIA95 coordinates were last defined based on the 1992 adjustment of the California State plane.
2. NAD83 Coordinates
The North American Datum Coordinates of 1983 are kept and used by San Francisco International Airport and the Federal Aviation Administration.
3. Coordinate System Transformation
Rectangular or local coordinates are transformed to and from NAD83 coordinates by San Francisco International Airport. Contact AM in writing for information requests. See Appendix A – Contact Information.
4. Coordinate System Usage
a. The appropriate coordinate system for contract work shall be chosen based on the area for which the coordinate system is defined. The consultant shall verify with the Airport PM, which proper coordinate system is to be used.
b. Development of architectural drawings shall use the SFO-B coordinate system only. Do not use the Rotate command for changing the orientation of the Basemap; Maintain the SFO-B coordinate system. If it is necessary to present drawings out of the SFO-B orientation the consultant may create and use a new Universal Coordinate System so long as SFO-B is the World Coordinate System. The consultant may scale the Basemap by a factor of 12 for conversion to architectural units, but must keep the origin of SFO-B unchanged. The origin of SFO-B is located 200 feet left of the threshold of Runway 10L on center. Axes are parallel and perpendicular to the centerlines of the runways.

Chapter 4: Cover Sheet and Titleblock:
For contract drawings, there are two acceptable sheet sizes: ANSI D (34” x 22”) and ANSI E (44” x 34”), and only one sheet size may be used for the entire construction drawing set, unless otherwise directed or approved by the PM. SFO recommends that ANSI D size sheets be used for all contract drawings, but it is understood that proper drawing presentation does not always make this practical. It is the responsibility of the consultant to choose either sheet size to best suit the project’s objective.
1. Provisions
a. The Cover Sheet and Titleblock are available for download. See Paragraph 2.1.
b. There will be four files available for downloading, either ANSI D or ANSI E:

2. Data Format
a. The files containing the characters “TB” spell out to “titleblock”. It is meant to be a master file for all drawing sheets in the project. It shall be attached as an xref (into paper space with layer 0 set current), for global consistency, ensuring that all drawing sheets in the project have the same exact information. See Paragraph 2.3.a.
I. The “TB” files contain the SFO logo, the border, other line work, and text. All of the entities in this file are to remain unchanged, except the text information for contract title, contract number, copyright year, review status, date, and final sequence number. These text strings shall be changed to suit the project. See Figures 4.2.a.I, 4.2.a.II, 4.2.a.III, and 4.2.a.IV.
II. The contract title and contract number are representative of the project. Any specifics shall be assigned by the PM.
III. The copyright year indicates the year in which the final deliverables are due, unless otherwise directed by the PM.
IV. The review status is indicative of the submittal or stage of the drawing/design. It is used to differentiate various iterations of the drawing so that the person using the drawing knows which stage of the design process the project is in. Some examples are “CHECK PRINT”, “30% REVIEW”, “70% REVIEW”, “FINAL REVIEW”, “AS-BUILT”. The PM will provide direction to the consultant in each case for submittal as to the composition of the review status indicator.
V. The date should coincide with the submittal, but the PM may provide specifics regarding this.
VI. The final sequence number indicates the total number of sheets in the contract drawing set, including all contributing disciplines.
VII. The actual dimensions of the borders are 31.75” x 20.5” for ANSI D and 41.5” x 32.5” for ANSI E. There are small circles located at the corners of the sheet which define the plot area when selecting the centers by window. A bar scale is proved to verify that the plotting is 1:1.

VIII. The lineweights for the titleblock are defined through polylines and the layer properties manager. The plotting scheme shall conform to these values. See Figure 4.2.a.II, and Paragraph 4.2.c.

b. The files containing the characters “CO”, “2L”, and “3L” spell out to “cover”, “2-line”, and “3-line” respectively. They are meant to be inserted as blocks (into paper space with layer 0 set current), rather than xref’s, and represent particular information pertinent to the specific sheet for which they are inserted.
I. The cover sheet fills the drawing area of the titleblock, and should be exploded and manipulated as necessary to accommodate the particular contract. The upper portion, from the horizontal line and above, should remain intact, except for the contract number and contract title. These text strings shall be changed appropriately. See Figures 4.2.b.I and 4.2.b.II. The lower portion shall be modified to suit the particular contract, which may include adding more sheets, as necessary.
II. The “2L” and “3L” files contain attributes, which have the titleblock information, such as sheet title, drawn by, designed by, check by, date, sheet number, etc. These attribute files differ from each other in the number of lines for sheet title. Sheets that have 2 lines in the title should have the “2L” file used, whereas sheets that have 3 lines (or one, leaving lines 1 and 3 blank) in the title should use the “3L” file. The reason for the variation is it allows the sheet title to be centered within the space alotted within the titleblock for a more professional appearance. See Figures 4.2.b.I, 4.2.b.II, and 4.2.b.III.

III. Both fields in the attribute dialog box prompting “ARCHITECT or ENGINEER” shall be filled in the same with either “ARCHITECT” or “ENGINEER”. The choice is determined by the discipline of the individual whose professional seal is to be placed on the drawing.
IV. Also contained in the “2L” and “3L” attribute files is the drawing’s automatic file location indicator, developed using the AutoCAD FIELD command. It has been placed vertically in the lower right-hand corner of the drawing sheet, outside the border, adjacent to the review status indicator. It displays the full path location of the drawing. See Figure 4.2.b.IV.

Chapter 5: Sheet Numbering, Revisions, and
Electronic File Naming:
Sheet Numbering, Revisions, and File Naming shall be in accordance with this chapter. Any deviation shall be submitted in writing to the airport for approval prior to the first preliminary drawing submittal. See Paragraph 2.3.i.
1. Sheet Numbering
Sheet numbers shall take a two, three, or four position form: Discipline, Group, Sub-group, and Sub-group sequence, the latter three positions separated by periods. In some instances, the Sub-group position shall be used as Group-sequence. See Example 5.1.a. Only when there is more than one sheet of a particular Group or Sub-group shall the sequencing positions be used. When the Sequence positions are used, the implication is that there is more than one sheet for that Group or Sub-group. Similarly, building nomenclature is defined as Discipline, Series, Level, and Sequence.
For building work, the level position shall be used to indicate the floor or level, with the letter “B” to be used for Basement, “M” to be used for Mezzanine, and “R” to be used for Roof. See Example 5.1.b. For multiple Basements, a number shall be attached to the “B” letter, corresponding by order of increasing depth. Where there is only one basement level, no number shall be attached. For Mezzanines, the number shall correspond with the floor below. See Example 5.1.c.
Note: Example 5.1.c is for identification purposes only. It is not intended to define nomenclature for buildings. Existing building nomenclature shall be consistent and verified with contract specifications. New building nomenclature shall be in accordance with the contract specifications.

2. Revisions
Generally, the set of contract drawings published for bidding purposes shall be Revision 0 (zero), and revisions are indicated by number (0, 1, 2…), rather than letter (A, B, C…). If the need for drawing revision arises, such as the case of addendums, three areas of the drawing shall be changed: first - the electronic filename (see Paragraph 3.3), second - the title block, and last - the drafting itself.
The title block shall be changed in two places - the revision column, and the revision number. All drafting work in the drawing area shall be enclosed by cloud and each cloud shall have a revision triangle, including the pertinent number, as its callout. The cloud shall be dark and bold enough so that the contractor can clearly see what is different from the previous submittal. The height of the text in the revision cloud shall be 1.5 times that of the text in the drawing area.

3. Electronic File Naming
For construction drawings, electronic filenames shall match those of the sheet numbers. Notice, indication for Revision 0 is not reflected in the electronic filenames.

Electronic filenames for external references (xref’s) shall take the form: “X” for xref, Discipline, Condition, dash, and Contract Number. There shall be only two conditions, E for existing and N for new. The existing condition file shall contain all AutoCAD entities prior to the proposed installation, including the entities intended for demolition, which shall be managed using layers. See Chapter 6. The new condition file shall contain only those AutoCAD entities which are new, and these new entities should be located such that xrefing the existing condition file aligns/matches both new and existing entities together.

For large buildings requiring multiple sectors per floor, the contractor shall submit a sketch showing a plan of the building outline identifying each sector. An accompanying table complete with a listing of all external reference filenames for the project shall be provided. The sketch and table shall be submitted to the PM for approval prior to the first preliminary drawing submittal. In addition, a riser diagram similar to example 5.1.c shall be submitted. See Paragraph 2.3.g.

Chapter 6: Drawing Entities:
All drawing entities shall be in accordance with this chapter and Paragraph 2.1. Any deviation shall be submitted in writing to the Airport for approval prior to the first preliminary drawing submittal. See Paragraph 2.3.i.
Definition: Working Drawing refers to the current drawing where drafting work is being performed.
1. Scaling and Drawing Presentation
a. Model Space: All scaled drawing work, such as plans, elevations and sections, shall be done in model space at a scale of 1 to 1, and all associated callouts and dimensions shall also be placed here. When drawings are being externally referenced into the working drawing the current layer shall be set to layer 0 (zero). In cases where working drawings host multiple xref‟s, each xref may be placed on its own layer. These layers shall be named “XR-FILENAME”, where “FILENAME” is indicative of the xref.
b. Paper Space (Layout): The cover sheet and title block shall be placed in paper space. See Chapter 4 – Cover Sheet and Title Block. Notes, tables, details, and diagrams may also be placed here. Basically, entities not requiring scaling or external referencing may be placed in paper space.
c. Workmanship: All drafting work shall be accomplished using proper drafting techniques, with appropriate lineweights, linetypes, dimensioning, etc., for professional drawing presentation. Inconsistent, illegible, and/or disorganized drawings will be rejected.
2. Layers
a. FAA Layers: All drawing work outside of buildings on Airport property, including underground infrastructure shall be accomplished using layers as outlined in the Federal Aviation Administration Advisory Circular number 150/5300-18B (AC18B), Chapter 5. These layers have been summarized and tabulated in Appendix C – Acceptable Layer Names, and made for drawing use in an AutoCAD template, SFO.dwt available for download. See Paragraph 2.1. The FAA layers shown in Appendix C and in the SFO.dwt are provided to help expedite drawing work. It is the responsibility of the consultant to ensure that all drawing work conforms to the FAA AC18B. However, these FAA layers have no provision for differentiating objects as existing, demolished, or new, which is so necessary for proper construction drawing presentation. In order to achieve this, the consultant shall duplicate the layer, suffixing “-N” to indicated new objects, and “-D” to indicate objects slated for demolition. The default layer name, with no condition shown, shall be indicative of existing objects. Proper linetypes and lineweights shall be included bylayer to compliment object differentiation. b. Architectural and Building Systems Layers: All drawing work inside of buildings shall be accomplished using layers as tabulated in Appendix C – Acceptable Layer Names. Shall the consultant have justification deviation may be approved upon written request.
c. „Quick‟ Layers: may be used for objects developed by the consultant in paper space only. These layers have simple names and are representative of the discipline, color, and linetype. They are to be used for objects in the working drawing that are not intended to be externally referenced into other drawings.
d. Current layer: When overlaying external references and inserting blocks into the host drawing the pertinent layer shall be set current. For xref‟s see Paragraph 6.1.a.

3. Lineweights
Lineweights shall be controlled via the layer manager and dimension style manager only. Polylines shall only be used to control lineweights in the airport-provided title block sheets. All lineweights for Color Table (.ctb) files shall use object lineweight. The consultant shall utilize the SFO color table files, BlackGray.ctb and BlackGray10Colors.ctb. The consultant may introduce an alternate color table file, only after requesting and receiving written permission from the Airport, prior to the first preliminary drawing submittal. See Paragraph 2.3.i. The SFO color table files are available for download. See Paragraph 2.1.
a. BlackGray.ctb: Plots all colors black, except colors 8, 9, and 250, through 255, which plot in their own gray shade of color, and color 156, which uses object color for plotting the SFO logo.

b. BlackGray10Colors.ctb: Plots similar to the BlackGray.ctb, except each color ending with the character 0 (zero), beginning with number 10, plots in their own color. For example, color 10 plots in color 10, color 20 in color 20, color 30 in color 30…color 240 in color 240.
c. Linework: New work (object lines) and text shall be of the same lineweight, approximately 0.30mm. Dimension, hidden, center, and phantom lines shall be approximately one-half the width of object lines. Background lines shall be approximately one-half the width of object lines. These lines may be tinted with a dark gray shade. These fundamental guidelines may be deviated from; it is basically to be defined by the individual drafters in a consistent manner. However, should the first drawing submittal prove to show an obvious degree of inconsistency, illegibility, and/or disorganization, the drawings will be rejected, and more stringent guidelines will be imposed.
4. Text Styles
Only two text styles are acceptble, RomanS and RomanD. Each shall have assigned the font of the same name with a height of 0.00, and a width of 0.80 minimum through 1.00 maximum. Proper lineweights shall be in accordance with Paragraph 6.3. The text styles are available for download. See Paragraph 2.1.
a. RomanS: This style shall be used for all text to be 0.125” in height and less (plotted at 1:1), and this height of 0.125” is the default text height for almost all work, including notes, dimensions, and callouts.
b. RomanD: This style shall be used for all text to be greater than 0.125” in height (plotted at 1:1). Note Headings shall be 0.1875” in height and View Titles shall be 0.25” in height (plotted at 1:1).
c. There are two exceptions: the SFO Cover Sheet has assigned font type RomanT for the headings, and the AutoCAD default font for the standard text style is Arial. These exceptions shall not be changed without prior written approval by the SFO CAD Committee.
5. Dimension Styles
There are two basic dimension styles, Architecture and Engineering, and they are available for download. See Paragraph 2.1. Each dimension style has lineweights defined for Dimension lines and Extension lines at 0.15mm. Extend beyond dim lines and Offset from origin are set at 0.0625”. Arrowheads are Closed filled (or for Architects only an Architectural tick) at 0.125” in size. The Text height is 0.125” with Text alignment set to Horizontal. The Scale for dimension features is set to Use overall scale of 1.00 for full scale – see table below (Architecture and Civil Engineering shown). Dimension styles are available for download. See Paragraph 2.1.

*Other disciplines, such as Utility, Mechanical and Electrical, shall use the appropriate dimension style based on which discipline they follow.
The dimension styles provided in SFO.dwt are for full size use only, and are non-annotative. The consultant may choose to annotate these dimstyles, or instead make additional non-annotative dimstyles with different overall scales in accordance with the table above. If the consultant chooses non-annotative dimstyles, each dimstyle must be placed on its own layer and named accordingly. For an example of layer names that include dimension scales, see electrical building systems layers in Appendix C – Acceptible Layer Names. Whichever choice is made, the entire drawing set, including all involved disciplines, must adhere to the decision. Without exception there shall be either all annotative or all non-annotative dimstyles.
6. Symbols
The symbol types acceptable to SFO are airport custom symbols and AutoCAD default symbols. The airport may also accept symbols from consultants, but prior to the first preliminary drawing submittal (see Paragraph 2.3.i), the consultant shall submit a list of symbols for approval. Airport symbols are available for download. See Paragraph 2.1.
7. Linetypes
The airport accepts AutoCAD default linetypes and custom airport linetypes.
a. The use of AutoCAD default linetypes shall be in accordance with industry standards. These generally include, center, continuous, dashed, hidden, and phantom linetypes.
b. Currently the list of SFO linetypes include utilities and fence lines and are shown below. SFO.lin is available for download. See Paragraph 2.1. The naming convention following “SFO” and the description is a single digit number, and various alpha characters. The single digit number indicates the relative spacing between the annotated characters. As the number increases, the spacing between annotated characters increases. The alpha characters are “A” and “AB” for Abandoned, “F” and “FM” for Force Main, “DB” for Duct Bank. The description “IW” is for Industrial Waste.

Appendix B: Map Request and Release:
AIRPORT COMMISSION
San Francisco International Airport
Geographic Information System License Agreement
Agreement No.
The City and County of San Francisco, a municipal corporation acting by and through its Airport
Commission, herein called the „AIRPORT‟, agrees to grant
,herein called the „LICENSEE‟, who agrees to accept a non-
transferable and non-exclusive license to use digital Geographic Information System (GIS) data
provided by the AIRPORT, subject to the following terms and conditions:
1. Term of License: The GIS data shall be licensed under this Agreement effective from the date of delivery and shall remain in force until LICENSEE discontinues use of the data and
returns the data to the AIRPORT or this Agreement is terminated otherwise as provided
herein.
2. License Coverage: LICENSEE shall have the right to load and use the GIS data on its own computer equipment for its normal business activity (subject to limitations herein defined)
and for no other purpose. The data may be copied in whole or in part (with the inclusion of
the AIRPORT‟S copyright notice and any AIRPORT proprietary notices on the data) only
onto the LICENSEE‟S own computer equipment.
3. Security: LICENSEE and its employees and contractors shall not provide or otherwise make available the digital GIS data or any part or copies thereof to any other party without
written approval of the AIRPORT.
4. Title: The GIS data is owned by the AIRPORT and is protected by U.S. copyright law and international treaty provisions.
5. Use of Map Sheets: The Airport Commission‟s map sheets were photogrammetrically computed from photography suitable for producing 2-foot contours. Elevations are based on
San Francisco International Airport‟s datum (mean sea level – N.G.V.D. 1929) 83 California
Coordinate System Zone 3. All map sheets fit together by being inserted at 0.0.
6. Use of Building Drawings: The information provided from the building drawings was digitized off existing AIRPORT drawings and is only as accurate as the base drawing from
which it was digitized. Building drawings are inserted as decimal feet to fit with the existing
map sheets.
7. Disclaimer of Liability and Warranties: AIRPORT warrants that it is the owner of the licensed GIS data. This express warranty of title is in lieu of all other warranties, expressed

and/or implied, including, but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability and
fitness for a particular purpose. The LICENSEE understands and agrees that the GIS data
may contain errors and/or omissions and agrees to take the data, “as is.” LICENSEE accepts
the GIS data subject to all risks of such errors and/or omissions, or arising from the use or
inability to use this GIS data.
8. Airport Intellectual Property: Pursuant to Resolution No. 01-0118, adopted by the Airport Commission on April 18, 2001, the Airport Commission affirmed that it will not
tolerate the unauthorized use of its intellectual property, including the SFO logo, CADD
designs, and copyrighted publications. All proposers, bidders, contractors, tenants,
permittees, and others doing business with or at the Airport (including subcontractors and
subtenants) may not use the Airport intellectual property, or any intellectual property
confusingly similar to the Airport intellectual property, without the Airport Director‟s prior
consent.
9. Termination: If the LICENSEE fails to adhere to any of its obligations hereunder, this License Agreement shall immediately terminate and the GIS data licensed hereunder will be
returned to AIRPORT within ten (10) days.
10. Assignment: This License Agreement, the license granted hereunder, and the digital GIS data may not be assigned or transferred to third parties without the prior written consent of
the AIRPORT, which the AIRPORT may withhold at the AIRPORT‟S sole discretion.
11. Agreement Limitation:
A. It is understood and agreed that this Agreement contains the entire and only understanding between the parties relating to the subject matter hereof, and that any
representation, promise or condition not contained herein shall not be binding on either

B. If any provision of this Agreement is determined by a court to be invalid under any applicable statute or rule of law, such provision is, to that extent, deemed omitted and this

C. This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of California.
12. Approval: If any portion of this pre-printed Agreement is deleted, or additional provisions are added under Section 13 or otherwise, the Agreement shall be of no force or effect unless
and until it is approved as to form and legality and signed on its face by the authorized
AIRPORT representative.

should not be construed as accurate, complete, or current. LICENSEE shall confirm the
