NOTICE

The Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board (ASRB) has been given the responsibility for conducting a common written examination for filling up positions of Technical Assistant (T-3) in 52 Research Institutions of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR).

It is for information of all the aspirants that the Common Written Examination shall be held on l 71

h July, 2016 (Sunday) from 10.00 a.m. to 12.00 noon in 27 Centres spread all over the country.

In response to the individual advertisements issued by these research Institutions on different dates, some aspirants might have applied for more than one of these Institutes. Such candidates shall receive the admit-card for this examination from all the Institutes where he/she had applied and may appear at one of the Institute I Centre of his/her choice.

It is informed that all the positions of Technical Assistant (T-3) are specific Institution/location based and the final merit list will be prepared Institute-wise. Therefore, all such aspirants who might have applied for more than one Institution may exercise his/her preference I option in order of priority of all the Institutions for which he/she had applied and hand it over to the Centre Supervisor on the day of Exam positively before leaving the Centre. Such aspirants shall be considered according to his/her merit in each of the Institutions of his/her choice in the order of his/her preference subject to the rank/placement in the merit list of the relevant Institution.

The Invigilators I Centre Supervisors have been directed separately to obtain an option from all such aspirants on the actual date of examination. If any aspirant fails to exercise his/her option of preference and hand-over the same to the Centre Supervisor on the day of the exam, the candidature of such aspirants will be considered only for the institute for which the candidate has appeared in the examination.
