The good manners excuse of don GeraldDowning as a method to avoid of thepolitical fight 222/6/2009

Socialist Fight has a forum of discussion inInternet (similar to Indymedia's forums ofArgentina or of the rest of Latin America).Anyone, with any name, in name of nobodyknows whom, without any responsibility beforethe masses, spread into the cyberspaceanything he wants, without proving anythingand when he wants.

In there, Mr. Gerald Downing from SocialistFight and Mr. Richard Brennan form Workers 'Power, come out to defend Monsieur PhilippeCouthon and the Groupe Bolshevik who hadsupported the institutions of the fifth Frenchrepublic from the left.

For it, Mr. Downing puts on clear that is goingto leave aside what are political details forhim, and that he is going to speak onmethod. This respectable Britishman isgoing to teach us good manners, he is to tellus what has to be and what has to be not donein a political discussion in order that itbecomes respectable. But Mr. Downing is nottalking about the respect between those whofight for the victory of the revolution, of thosewho go up to the end in the discussion of eachone of the political differences, fraternally butwithout diplomacy. No, for Mr. Downing it isnecessary to leave aside the political details, and to adopt the good manners of thedominant classes. Mr. Downing has notinvented anything new, in his work WheresBritain going? Trotsky defines accurately theEnglish leaders who, in order of controlling theinternational proletariat, repeated, in acomical way, the manners and the forms ofthe dominant classes of England, of whichthey were living as parasites. One of thefundamental questions in which Trotsky wasattacking Mister Mc Donald and to his good

manners was the revolutionary violence, which scared Mr. Mac Donald very much.

This it is the hypocritical respectability of thedominant classes that do not raise up theirvoice in the luxurious metropolitan salons, butwho are not disturbed by the cannonsthunder sent to smash to the superexploitedmasses of ther colonies and semicolonies or ofthe poor slums in their own country.

The same hypocrisy of the dominant classesthat Mr. Downing is copying now to write thatthe one who signs the letter from the NRI isthe same who signed a previous letter fromthe SCAI of the FLT; the same hypocrisy thathe has used to say that it is a question of

dementia; and the same one that PhilippeCouthon had used to speak aboutGangsters. Richard Brenan lines up withthem speaking about fools.

Respectable gentlemen, you should know thatthe time to get the bills paid by those that

leaving aside the political details accuse us offorgers, mad or gangsters will come for therevolutionaries. But on the contrary of whatyou want, we will not leave the political fightagainst the renegades of Trotskyism and allthe reformists that with the hypocriticalvenerability copied from the manners of theirown bourgeoisie and with their calumnies, want to poison the conscience of the workingclass. They will see our offensive redoubledonce, two times, ten times, together with thatof the youth and the workers who every nightwill make a Baghdad in Paris, in London, inNew York, in Berlin, in Rome, .

But these gentlemen who join to leave asidethe political details to speak about goodmanners and to accuse me of mad becausehaving political differences, deserve ananswer.

How is that, that the death of the Frenchyouths was not indirect as Philippe Couthonsays, if this was demonstrated by the mostrespectable The New York Times with detailsof minutes and seconds?, Mr. Gerald Downingsays.

We ask then: is not that the same "The NewYork Times" that was swearing that there werechemical weapons in Iraq to justify the anglo-yanqui invasion?. Of course it is the same. It isprecisely the most prestigious speaker of thehypocritical respectability of the imperialistbourgeoisies. And is this the flag that Mr.Gerald Downing raises in name of Trotskyismto justify the capitulation of his partnerPhilippe Couthon! Before burning nothing, you must read the respectable The New YorkTimes. This way you will realize how wrong

you are! This is what Mr. Downing has to sayto the French youth. These are the politicaldetails that Mr. Downing wants to set aside.

Do not stop! Go on building up committees ofself-defense and Soviet organisms tocoordinate all the sectors in struggle! We,revolutionaries, will say present to fightagainst the respectable reformists and to putin your hands the program for victory! Let's donot stop until the defeat of the police in thestreets and until not leaving stone over stoneof each and everyone of the institutions of theFrench imperialist republic! Let's do not stop

until establishing a dictatorship of theproletariat that will get paid the bill of

centuries of oppression and super-exploitationof the colonial and semicolonial peoples ofAfrica, Asia, America and the Pacific Oceanand of their descendants in the metropolitanFrance! This is the call that we do upon theworking youth and all the French workers.

Then, Gangsters, forgers, mad! shoutCouthon and Downing. They have not inventedanything new. They do not do anything elsebut to follow master Stalin, who accused ascriminals or insane persons the politicalopponents to enclose them in jails, mentalhospitals or concentration camps. If Couthonand Downing were at the head of a workersstate, that they would not hesitate an instantto enclose in their Lubianka, or in theirVorkuta accusing of gangsters, mad, forgers to everyone who has politicaldifferences with them, which they do not wantto discuss.

But this is nothing but their way of doingpolitics: let's speak about manners and let'sspread calumnies to hide that their politics isthat of supporting the imperialist bourgeoisiein their own countries. Here they did notinvent anything new either.

There have been bolder people that donGerald Downing, Richard Brennan y PhilippeCouthon, who has seized cudgels and havebroken the head to the people in order toaccommodate the ideas of these madmen; asthe PO of Altamira and the PSTU in Brazil didwith the comrades of this band of madmenand gangsters. They went even farther: theygave them up to the police and to thebourgeois justice and Mister GeraldDowning and his gang have not stated aposition about it yet, even if they defend thegood manners.

In the 70s there was an Italian movie directedby Vittorio de Sica, named Thief of bicycles. In a scene of the it the thief of the bicycle

shouted to the thief! indicating someonewho was walking in the next street), while hestole the bicycle. Today Mister Gerald Downingand his allies repeat this scene, but in theMarxist movement. Good manners! toaccuse those who have political differences ofgangsters and insane people, using thegood manners of don Josef Stalin.

Every honest revolutionary young or workershould know that this is a smoke screen ofthose that speaking in the name ofTrotskyism, want to pass the old rottenprogram of the social democracy and theStalinism.

In the Transitional Program, comrade Trotskyalerted that we will gain the just hate of all thecurrents that are hung to the skirts of thepopular front, of the bourgeoisie and itsinterests. Do not doubt about it, English,French and European workers, these groups

defend the good manners in order that theFrench, European, English working class, doesnot get paid the bills with the workersaristocracies and bureaucracies that with veryvillain manners they betray the fight of thesemi colonial world, support their hangmenand betray their own working class. In fact, there was no in history a petty bourgeoisieand a workers aristocracy that defend asmuch as the English one the good manners ofits own imperialist bourgeoisie and thatattacked the villains manners of theoppressed peoples who were rebelling, in the

colonial and semicolonial countries and inBritain itself, against the oppressive nation.

Of course, the revolutionaries will not fit in thenarrow arena of the Internet forums, wherepeople without any responsibility beforenobody, posing as attorneys have thenonchalance of defining an action of themasses, as the spontaneous revolts of thesons of the immigrants drugged for years towork as slaves from the colonies to themetropolis were.

New these Mc Donald are not in the convent of

the Jacobins, where, even from the point ofview of the bourgeois revolution, from thereason, it was justified the violence of therevolts of the sans coulottes and the raggedpeople of Paris. They are the Gerondinos ofthe proletarian revolution, who have thearrogance and the good manners to want tosend the Trotskyist Leninist Jacobins of theproletarian revolution to the Lubianka or topsychiatric hospitals to discipline and toaccommodate our ideas.

These people, with so good manners, comesout in defence of the most brutal attackagainst the revolt of the exploited people ofParis of 2006 and 2007, who question myvillains manners and the villains manners ofthe rebellious that put on fire cars, schoolsand buses, they forget and silent in ashameless way - as servants of thebourgeoisie as they are - the violence andhumiliations, bloody repressions, infamousattacks that the exploited people and workerssuffer from hands of the state, every day, every hour and every second of their life.Because those who dare to speak about the

mistakes of the violence of the exploitedpeople, of the excesses of their violence whenthey rise up, they are not any more but paid

defendants of the violence exercised by thebourgeois state, which is anything but a gangof armed men, that every day at gunpointdefend the domain of a possessing class.

Don Gerald Downing and don PhilippeCouthon, stay with the good manner of the

French workers aristocracy, that left isolatedand betrayed the workers who occupied thefactories and took hostages and the youth thatrebelled in Greece, raising the same programthan the youth in Paris, with the slogan thespark of Greece inflames Paris that is still onthe walls of Athens -and that Gerald Downingor Philippe Couthon will not be able to deny-.

Honouring the rebellious of Greece and Paris, honouring the Iranian, Afghan and Palestinianresistance, a war cry of the world proletariatLong life for the violence of the oppressed,

down with the violence of the oppressors.Paraphrasing the balance of 1905 we mightsay, with Lenin, that the problem of theserevolts, riots and the revolution that tookplace all over Russia was that they did notburnt enough, there killed few landowners andenemies of the proletariat; while theMensheviks, the tired Monattes, the scared McDonalds english men, the Gerald Downings, the Philippe Couthons of today shout andscream what violent these young men were, how rebellious, how many cars they burnt! ".

With his class of good manners, Mr. Gerald

Downing covers Philippe Couthon who coversthe French NPA, that in turn covers thebutchers of Fifth French Republic that hassuperexploited, oppressed and massacredworkers and peasants in more than twocenturies of existence of this capitalist worldsystem. The Mensheviks follows today thesame dynamics of what we might call theMonatte Law. Everywhere, they play the roleof covering the left flank of the counter-revolutionary leaderships of any colour: " It isundoubted that the radicalization that thealarmists were proclaiming two years ago iscoming closer. The economic crisis has comeinto France, though with certain delay. () Butit is undoubted that the state of stablepassiveness in which the French working classstayed in the years of the supposedradicalization will open way to an increasingactivity and to a spirit of militancy in a shorttime. The revolutionaries must point up to thisnew period.

On the verge of a new period, Monatte bringstogether those who are tired, disillusioned, exhausted and makes them pass to Jouhaux's

side. Worse for Monatte and better for therevolution! " (Leon Trotsky, 1930, Monate

crosses the Rubicon; quoted in The events of1989. The update of the program of therevolutionaries and the combats of theworking class at the end of the 20th century,Editorial Rudolph Klement, 2000).

The only impotence even if Mr. Gerald

Downing does not want to discuss politics ofthe French working class before the revolt ofits youth, was the cowardice and the perfidy ofthe leaderships of the trade unions, whichrefused to raise this spontaneous revolt up toa general strike in the whole France. For donGerald Downing, don Phillipe Couthon, thosegentlemen the bureaucrats- are serious andrespectable. Stay with them. Go oncondemning the violence of the exploitedpeople. But do not do it in the name ofTrotskyism any more. You will neverunderstand, as blinded as you are, that theclass struggle -and the spontaneous revolts aspart of it is where, according to Lenin, residesthe embryonic of conscious- is anuninterrupted chain of violences covered orconcealed in which the state -that do no existsfor Mr. Couthon, nor for Mr. Gerald Downingnor for the NYT, not for their new partnerRichard Brennan- is the wildest, beastly andinhuman organ of the violence that is exertedagainst the exploited classes every day..

    * * *

The one who accuses me of insane person

comes up to the point of denying my ownexistence, or, of having multiple personality, signing letters of more than one revolutionaryorganization. You do not have anything else todo but to ask your partner Philippe Couthon, who knows me personally, and also knowsCarlos Munzer, and hundreds of combatantsfor the proletarian revolution. It is not aquestion of a sleepwalker sat in an armchair infront of the Internet, but of hundreds andhundreds of Trotskyist cadres, a real currentimplanted in the working class, that you willnot be able to confine in mental hospitals thistime nor make it disappear from the planet asthe renegades of Trotskyism did for years withthe Fourth International.

Have you see that impudence?. Inventedgroups, of 2 or 3 stupid chatting in front of ascreen being disrespectful with thecombatants of the Fourth International, withthe rebellious youth of France and with themasses in struggle of the world!!

If extract blood form these haggards thatconnect in the world of the cyberspace, andyou send it to the laboratory of pathology, the

result would be: carcinogenic tumour ofrenegades of Trotskyism. The term

renegade might be disrespectful for you, butLenin did very well calling Kautsky arenegade when he betrayed the proletariat.

If to fight against those who in the name ofTrotskyism called to vote for the imperialisticBritish government of the Labour party for this

kitchen of thieves of the European parliamentis to be a madman, long life for madness!

If to fight for the destruction of the Zionist -fascist state of Israel and for not givingnational rights to any oppressive nation of theworld is to be a madman, long life formadness!

If to vindicate the revolt and the violence ofthe sons of the immigrants in Paris, and tothink that its limit was in the small violenceexercised against the exploiters because ofthe responsibility of the leaderships of the

trade unions and of the parties of the Frenchworkers aristocracy is to be a madman, longlife for madness!.

If to think that the one who condemns theviolence of the exploited and not that of thestate of the oppressors, is a vile servant of theexploiters is to be a madman, long life formadness!.

There will be neither smoke screen norpersonal attacks that prevent therevolutionaries from unmasking the enemiesof the proletariat.

You talk about a mad. You try to make therevolutionary forefront of the proletariatbelieve that it is a question of a madmanmaking gestures. But every perspicaciousyoung or worker, watching with attention willsee and will know that it is a question of therevolutionaries who are sharpening the knifewith a stone.

From the heart of the Chilean, Peruvian, SouthAfrican, Argentine, Bolivian, North American,Brazilian, New Zealand proletariat , thissharp tool will come into the hands of themost exploited sectors of the French workingclass and then there will be not only cars, schools and buses those that burn in Paris.Nothing but the ashes of each one and everyone of the institutions of the bourgeois statewill stay on foot. The burning of the Bastillawill look like a child's play and poor of thatone that interposes in their way which is ourway.
