• Over 1.7 million cases of chlamydia, gonorrhea and syphilis (primary and secondary) were reported to the CDC in 2012.

• Young people (15-24) had the highest reported chlamydia rates.Age

• African Americans had 6.5 times higher chlamydia reported rates than Whites. Race

• Women had 2.0 times higher reported chlamydia rates of Men. Sex

In 2013, there were 8,110 cases reported (694.7 per 100,000).
