Industry, domestic use, agriculture... there are many sectors that use water and pollute.Domestic wastewater includes water used for household and hygiene purposes: showering, dishwashing, toilet flushing, which in general contains chemicals (detergents and solvents), fats and organic materials.
Industrial wastewater differs from domestic water. In addition to organic materials, it also contains toxic products: solvents, heavy metals, organic micropollutants and hydrocarbons.
Stormwater does not always have polluting substances. However, if it runs through an urban environment and / or mixes with sewer overflows, it becomes similar to domestic sewage that may contain toxic substances.

100% free passage for a low head loss thanks to a total clearance of the flap.
Quiet operation due to the inclined valve seat which shortens the closing distance.
Minimum clogging through optimum hydraulic design. The closing element with its vulcanized closing plate is the only moving part of the valve. No risk of clogging around an axis or a lever and weight.
Broad valve seat which prevents valve wear and failure even at elevated pressure.

CHARACTERISTICS
Low head loss is ensured by the double-offset free-swinging disc, key component of the ERK. The disc is freely oscillating and has a flow-facilitating design with its double eccentricity supports.
The spontaneous position of the disc will be where the effort is the lowest, thus ensuring low head loss.
Double eccentric design is an advantage for:• Low operating torque. • No premature wear of the disc and
gasket.
Maximum crossing section reached by a two-part shaft.

STANDARD VERSION
Use on pumping stations. Vertical mounting with seat downward (Fig. 1) or horizontal mounting with upward housing of the ball (Fig. 2). The arrow indicates the flow direction, pumps in operation (same direction as that indicated on the ball check valve). From DN 400, indicate when consulting or ordering, the service conditions (pressure, flow…) as well as the type of mounting (horizontal / vertical).
FLOATING BALL VERSIONS
Use as single orifice air valve air inlet / outlet, no relief of air under pressure). Vertical mounting with seat upward (Fig. 3). The arrow indicates the air evacuation direction (oppo site direction to that indicated on the ball check valve).

The STRATE system is used as one of the characteristic features of all AWALIFT sewage pumping stations and stands for maximum operational safety, economic and user friendliness thanks to its combination of patented solids collecting chamber and centrifugal pump.The solids collecting chamber separates the sewage into “pre-cleaned” sewage and solids.Since the centrifugal pump only pumps “pre-cleaned sewage” it has optimum protection from soiling, blockage and wear.The result is extremely economic operation with maintenance costs reduced to a minimum.On request we also offer special solutions according to your needs.
