Lesson Planner is a tool to set up your gradebook.
First click on LESSON PLANNER
This is where you select the Curve for your gradebook to figure. You will select
DISTRICTGRADING SCALE. This must be done for each section you set up. SAVE
Make sure you are working in the
correct SECTION.
Select the Term you are setting up.
If this is the beginning of the year
you would set up TERM TERM 1
SEMESTER. Click on it!
Now you will set up the different Groups you will be grading.
Now you are going to set up assignments. These can be done ahead of time but remember
these will be visible to the Parent Portal so if you are not ready for parents to see them,
flag them to be hidden from the portal.
All RED asterisk fields must be filled. Name the assignment. Abbreviation only has 5
characters. You are limited. Choose the GROUP to save the assignment in. Total points
the assignment is worth. Due Date. Assigned Date is not required but could be helpful.
You can type a short description. This will be visible from the portal. This could be an
explanation of the assignment and what is expected from the student. SAVE
You can
NAME your
groups
whatever you
would like.
These will
show up at the
top of your
gradebook.

chose the
following
names.
Make sure you
select the correct
term/task for
your group to be
saved in.
