INTRODUCTION

• WhenJesusfirstcame,thepeopleofGodfailedtorecogniseHiscomingeventhoughtheyknewtheScriptures,taughtfromit,heardthewordsofChristandsawHimperformingsignsandwonders.

• JesusinstructsHisdisciplesto“stayalert”forHissecondcoming(Mark13:33-37)becausemanywillbetakenbysurprise(Luke21:35,1Thess.5:1-4).
