Introduction

• Change management procedures currently repetitive and not cost (or time) effective!

• Specialist consultants are capable of streamlining these procedures within a Managed Model.

3

Overview

• Outline the Operational Issues.

• Training Requirement.

• Identify Consultants requiring Training.• Establish procedures

• Establish Roles and Responsibilities.

4

Operational Benefit

• Services Record Updating Procedure is currently multi-tasked to a collection of individuals, involving repetition of hand-written amendments and multi-file transfers prior to integration within the Services Record DIRECTORY.

• The Services Record directory would contain MODELS composed of DRAWINGS with relevant LAYERS visible. These are ideal from an operational perspective, replacing current heavy user input to maintain, resulting in “out of date” records for periods of time.

Training Requirement.

• Knowledge of DIRECTORY structures.

• Accessing and viewing MODELS.

• Accessing and editing DRAWINGS.• Manipulating LAYERS.

• Manipulating BLOCKS.

• PRINTING and extracting information.

• FILING - Overwriting and updating.

Directory Structure – Hierarchy 1

• This shows where within the network the Models directories reside.

• The sub-directories can be identified.

• All directories have sensible /logical names for ease of accessing the relevant information.
