Gone are the days when people were attracted to military profession quite easily. The dignity and honour offered by the career created magnetic attraction for the young generation in the past. The opportunity of dedication, self sacrifice and contribution to nation added priceless intangible values to military profession unparallel to non-military careers. But for numerous reasons, military career these days is unable to attract talented young people. This is the global scenario. Bangladesh Armed Forces is no exception to this. Apparently, it seems that bright and talented young generation is no longer interested to choose military as their career.
