Rig FlooR Tension sysTemWe use field proven technology to provide rig floor tensioning
systems that are quick and easy to install, significantly reduce rig time, as well as stack up height.
Sitting within the rotary table’s master bushing slot, our rig floor tensioning systems interface with the casing / tubing,
enabling a significant reduction in height to be achieved. The systems use an upward force supplied via hydraulic jacks to cause a reaction against plates, which sit directly on the rig floor. This reduces rig time and enables variations in spaceout to be achieved through simply altering the height of the jacks.
PRoTen RiseR Tension sysTemOur PROten riser tension system uses an innovative, marine friendly hydraulic system along with a SUREgrip tension ring to provide a safe, dependable, field proven, conductor tensioning solution.
The colour coding of the tension cylinders and control panel makes operating individual cylinders simple, and independent operation of each cylinder ensures efficient BOP installation.
Designed to withhold a tension capacity between 50TE - 300TE, systems are pressure relieved to prevent pulling on any one cylinder during offshore operations.

sURegRiP Tension RingDesigned for use across all riser surfaces, SUREgrip tension rings can be installed at any height and within any position, and can be easily reused.
With a maximum safe working load ranging from 150TE - 400TE (depending on size), the SUREgrip tension rings are quick and simple to install, saving rig time and simplifying drilling operations.
SUREgrip tension rings are available in sizes from 4½” to 36” with various sizes available in a slimline version.

condUcToR / RiseR Tensioning UniTIn situations where the use of our PROten riser tension system may not be suitable, we recommend the use of conductor / riser tensioning units, which provide the required tension to a riser.

Our subsea camera systems (Aquascope) are an ideal solution for obtaining essential, real time, high quality subsea images within open water or wellbore operations.
Quick and easy to install, the Aquascope camera system is rapidly deployed via the drill string with its dedicated running tool, or via tugger wire in a purpose-built protection frame.
disPosable cameRa sysTemsWe provide offshore operation of disposable camera systems, enabling real time subsea visual feedback to the installation operator during difficult or unsupported subsea installation operations.
The disposable cameras can be strategically positioned to view key areas, such as interfacing parts, locking mechanisms and depth markings, to assist with operations and to provide confirmation of a successful installation.

Our detailed understanding of how risers behave, gained from our experience in riser analysis, coupled with our operational knowledge of running and maintaining risers enables us to specify and design systems that accurately meet a client’s specific requirements.
We have provided standard systems ranging up to 400TE capacity and have the experience to design a system to meet any client’s needs concerning stroke, rotation, lateral load resistance and integration with a rig’s existing tension system.

cemenT ToP-UP sysTems We supply various field proven cement top-up systems that provide the capability to pump additional cement into the annulus, between the conductor and the open hole section. This ensures that the conductor performs, as designed and reduces the threat of failure due to an inadequate primary cement job.
Our products range from simple single point cement injections, to multi-staged cement injection systems. Both systems can be disconnected from the mudline hard piping after cement top-up has been completed.
The system can also be easily adapted to work in conjunction with a subsea tree installation.
condUcToR WhiPsTocksWhipstocks are used during slot recovery operations, to enable operators to install a second conductor, having cut and retrieved the first.
Using robust, cost effective, field proven technology, our team of engineering experts can design a whipstock to suit a variety of conductor sizes, providing detailed installation procedures and associated equipment, such as cameras and gyroscopes.
moniToRing seRvicesAquaterra Energy offers a range of systems for monitoring vital data associated with riser and structural systems.
A key service offered provides detailed data on the fatigue utilisation of subsea riser systems, and has been extensively used on our own high pressure riser systems to record fatigue data in line with the requirements of ISO 13628-7 and our robust Fatigue Management System.
Additional monitoring systems have been offered and supplied for applications such as monitoring riser deflections, jack-up rig / platform relative movement, tension system pressures or applied loads and component strain on structural members.
Data produced by these systems can be displayed at site (with options for duplicate displays in other locations such as the company office or dog house), captured at
site for later download and analysis and even translated into a Wellsite Information Transfer Specification (WITS) data stream for direct transfer anywhere in the world, allowing live onshore monitoring, rapid data analysis and simple data storage and management.
condUcToR sloT RecoveRy As a cost efficient method of enhancing production from existing infrastructure, conductor slot recovery enables operators to reuse a plugged, non-producing well slot to drill for fresh resources.
Providing turnkey services, our conductor slot recovery team can assist with the planning, engineering, management and execution of any offshore operation. Undertaking key operations during initial engineering and planning, the team studies the seabed geometrics, performs anti-collision and structural capacity checks and manages the handling of equipment to achieve optimum cutting depths, above or below the seabed.

RenTal ToolsWe offer an extensive range of rental tooling to enhance drilling, completion and testing operations. Bespoke tools are also designed and manufactured for specific customer requirements.
The tools are suitable for various applications, including cleanout of risers, mudline hanger systems, tieback seal areas, subsea wellhead gasket profiles and seal areas, BOP ram bodies, seal and cavity area and wellbore cleanout.
The PDQ drill string connectors allow large diameter BHAs to be made up under the rig floor without tongs, helping to minimise rig time by greatly reducing the make up time of drill pipe running strings, maximise cost efficiency, while also improving safety and reducing personnel injury risk and equipment damage.
The robust connectors are easy to use and maintain, can be quickly assembled without the need for specialist personnel and retain maximum pressure while withstanding torque and tension.

sURecUT cold cUTTeROur SUREcut cold cutter solution offers significant time and cost savings across both surface and subsea casing cutting applications. Efficient and easy to use, its dual motor design ensures optimum reliability and straight clean cuts for pipes up to 56” in diameter.
Lightweight in design, cutters can be utilised to perform internal and external J and V chamfers. For rigs with air supply limitations we provide a hydraulically driven cutter, complete with power pack.

gyRoscoPesState-of-the-art retrievable fibre optic gyroscope systems can be fitted to subsea equipment to provide precise real time positional data and enable accurate orientation and positioning of subsea drilling templates, guide bases, subsea trees and subsea protective structures.
heavy liFTing eqUiPmenTWe offer a complete heavy lifting equipment solution, from analysis to installation, including the provision of experienced installation engineers and the necessary associated equipment required to suit a range of subsea rig installation operations.
Experience demonstrates that the foundation of any installation is based on the analysis. We offer a range of installation analysis services to ensure maximum integrity across any proposed system, and our full installation engineering services include detailed offshore installation procedures, lift plans and risk assessments.
We can offer trash caps to protect temporarily abandoned well stumps from dropped objects. We can provide both internal and over-shot style caps depending on client requirements.
Our caps can be deployed and retrieved on drill string without ROV (remotely operated vehicle) assistance, via dedicated running tools and our subsea cameras, or by tugger with assistance from ROV.
