Today we will look at:

With God’s mandate to move forward,

GOD MADE IMPORTANT PROMISES to Joshua!

--PROSPERITY

I. THE PROMISE OF POSSESSION

(v. 3) "I will give you everyplace where you set

your foot..."

PROSPERITY GOSPEL

WARNING!

The Promise Land is a literal place-- the Canaan Land, a land flowing with milk and honey.

What does the Promise of Possession include?

The possession is plain and simple; The Promise Land!

….. a place of Blessings, Prosperity, Peace,

Happiness, Contentment, etc.

Without thinking about heaven, what is the promise land for us?

The promise land maybe…

--VICTORY

II. THE PROMISE OF POWER

(v. 5) "No one will be able to stand up

against you all the days of your life."

Power for victory! Power to live a victorious life.

What’s the POWER for?

--SECURITY

III. THE PROMISE OF PRESENCE

v. 5) "As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will

never leave you nor forsake you."

I am the God of the Past and the God of the

Future!

“ As I was with Moses, I will be with you.”

And there is no greater security than the security

in the presence God!

There is no greater promise than this: “I will be with you…I will never forsake

you.”

What are the three things we learned about God’s

promises?

We can’t stay where we are!

We must move forward!

We can’t go back
