What is Crime?

CRIME is an act subject to sanctions as defined by law. Unless the elements specified by statutory or case law are present and proved beyond reasonable doubt, a person may not be convicted of a crime. Crime is punishable with the force of law.

Definitions of crime:

Crime is a violation of criminal laws regulating human action.

Crime is omission or commission of an act forbidden by law.

Behavior, when it crosses normal limits and come to the official notice, becomes crime.

Crime is a learned behavior that equals E+I =C (Environmental + Individual = Crime) A man learns crime from his criminal

environment.

Definition of terrorism

Terrorism is the illegal use of force against innocent people in order to achieve political objective.

Unlawful use of force or violence by a person or an organized group against people or property with the intention of intimidating governments often for ideological or political reasons.

Terrorism in Pakistan:

Terrorism has become a major and highly destructive phenomenon in recent years. The annual death toll from terrorist attacks has been raised from 164 in 2003 to 3318 in 2009. With the total of more than 50,000 innocent Pakistanis and more 5000 soldiers have been killed in terrorist attacks.

Terrorist come on the border of other country attack and create anarchy by bombing and destroy peace.

Political terrorism

People or groups who oppose the terrorist’s political ideology.

Bio terrorism

Bio Terrorism refers to the intentional release of toxic biological agents to harm and terrorize the civilians in the name of political or other cause.

Cyber terrorist use information technology to attack civilians and draw attention to their cause. This may mean they use information technology such as computer systems and telecommunication systems

Narco terrorism has been used to indicate situation in which terrorist groups used drug trafficking to fund their other operations.

Nationalistic Terrorism

This kind of terrorism promote the interests of a minority, ethnic or religious group who have suffered under majority rules. i.e. Sikhs of India, Muslims in Serbia

Religionist fanaticism

Religious fanaticism is fanaticism related to a person's, or a group's, devotion to a religion.

Definition of Rape

Rape is defined as the carnal knowledge of a female forcibly and against her will. Rape involves nonconsensual sexual intercourse performed by a male against a female he was neither married to nor cohabitating with.
