TheISOLOK®SeriesSAKBulkSolidsSamplerprovidesasimple,reliablemeansofcollectingrepresentativesamplesofflowablepowders,flakesorgranules.Materialssuchassalt,cement,fertilizer,alumina,gypsum,andfoodproductsaresampledfromprocessstreamsatatmosphericpressure.Anauxiliarytopbodyportenablesairejectionofnon-free-flowingmaterials.
Anaircylinderextendsasingleplungerintotheprocessmaterial,thenimmediatelywithdraws,carryingafixedamountofsampletrappedinanannularringbetweenplungerseals.Processorflowportsarealwaysclosed,preventingleaksorproductloss.Therearenotubesorpassagestobecomeclogged.Thegravity-dischargedsampleistransferreddirectlytoaclosedcontainer.Sampleintegrityismaintainedwhilecontaminationofpersonnelorfacilityiseliminated.
ISOLOK®SeriesSAKSamplerscanbeusedforcomposite,batchoranalysissamplingtechniques.Compositesamplingisaccomplishedbyobtainingaseriesofpreciselymeasuredmaterialsamplesatsetintervalsoradjustedinresponsetoproductflow.Samplescanbecollectedincommonorindividualcontainers.Batchoranalysissamplinginresponsetoimmediateneedoron-lineprocesscontrolinterfaceisfacilitatedusingsingleorrapid-cyclingmaterialwithdrawal.
