Currently, copies of the Silver Streak are mailed out every other month to approximately 8200 residents over the age of 55. In the next few months, information will be sent out so that participants may indicate whether or not they would like to continue receiving the newsletter. ose who opt out of receiving the newsletter will then be removed from the distribution mailing list. Along with the possible changes in distribution of the Silver Streak, consideration is also being made to reduce the number of newsletters which are published annually from bi-monthly to quarterly. What this would mean for participants is that instead of registering for programs that are scheduled for a two-month period, participants may be registering for a three-month period per newsletter and, therefore, the Silver Streak would be mailed out four times a year rather than six. Look for more information on these two potential changes in upcoming newsletters. Feel free to provide your feedback, as it is always appreciated. Events include an Evening Social, Friday Game Days, a September Line Dance Party, and don’t miss the Fall Harvest Luncheon in October. For more information regarding Special Events, turn to page 11.
