Director moving
on after 6 years Chamber Chairman Dacey
Malone of Titan Bank has an-
nounced that the Board of Direc-
tors accepted the resignation of
Chamber Executive Director Beth
Henary Watson at its August meet-
ing.
The Board immediately convened
a search committee and is accepting applications for the
position through Sept. 10.
Watson joined the Chamber in 2007 and will stay on
through the end of the Chamber year, which ends Sept.
30 with the Awards Banquet at Eagle Flying Museum,
according to Malone. The Board plans a smooth transi-
tion and Watson will assist with that.
Watson will join the team at Corner Post Financial
Planning beginning Oct. 1. She said her greatest joy
working with the Chamber has been helping individual
members with their unique challenges every day.
