DATE CORRECTION: The 6th grade math night is the 13th of September in
the LGI @BDJH 5:30 pm-6:15 pm Pre-AP 6:30 pm-7:15 pm.
YEARBOOKS: Yearbooks are now on sale for $45 at www.Balfour .com. This
price will be good through Sept. 9th at midnight. Starting Sept. 10, the price will
be $48. We have ordered only 850 books for 1800 students - order yours now!
SCIENCE CLUB: If you would like to join any of the Science Club competi-
tions you must have your paperwork in to Mrs. CJ ( room 1161) by Tuesday Sep-
tember 13th. Teams are filling up and you will not be able to join after this date.
Science Club Meeting dates are as follows: All meet in room 1161 until 3:45 after-
school. Monday's TEAMS, Tuesday's Future City, Wed's National Science Bowl,
Thursday's Academic Quiz Bowl. Make sure you are signed-up on Remind for
each competition you are in to receive updates.
LEGO CLUB: Lego club will have its fir st meeting on Tuesday, 13th Septem-
ber in the BDJH library. This is going to be our new base for all our future Lego
club meetings this year. (Please do not go to t-16) New members are very wel-
come to join. Lego club is all about building models, watching Lego movies and
having fun. Lego club will start at 2.35 pm and will finish at 3.35 pm.
FCA: FCA will meet Fr iday mornings @ 6:25 am in Mrs. Buchanan's room,
T-4.

Please join us for our first Parent Coffee of the Year. Your PTA will be hosting "Coffee Talk with Dr.
Crowell" on Sept. 29 at 9:30 am in the LGI. This will be an opportunity for you to meet our new princi-
pal, as well as find out how to get involved (you and your student) at BDJH. We hope you will join

BDJH PTA is so excited to begin another great year at Beckendorff Junior High. Please consider join-
