This project has been selected due to the serious flooding Steinhatchee has faced in recent years resulting from coastal weather and heavy rain events. This program is intended to benefit residents in Low to Moderate Income (LMI) neighborhoods and applies primarily to those areas identified as Most Impacted and Distressed (MID) in the major disaster declarations of 2016 Hurricane Matthew and 2017 Hurricane Irma.The County has a 14 day public comment period from August 28, 2020 to September 11, 2020. All questions and comments will be posted on the County website at www.taylorcountygov.com. All questions and comments will also be submitted to FDEO with the grant application.
