Even though we are wearing masks, it is great to have our students back in the building. Seeing students having lunch at school, carrying on conversations, and a full sports schedule are all something we love to see. I would like to thank all of the parents for encouraging your child to wear their mask while in the building. I don't like wearing one all day, but to be able to have students back in school makes it all worth it. Here are a few reminders for the year: Make sure your child has a water bottle every day. We have refill stations and encourage students to use them between classes. Also, only pack materials in the backpacks that are used daily. The PE classes have started dressing out. If you have not purchased a PE uniform, you can do so at All Pro Tees. I would like to thank everyone who drops off and picks up their child for your patience and help with the traffic lines. Moving as far forward is vital to the lines moving quickly. We are still having a number of students coming in after 8:35. If they do so, they are counted tardy for the advisory period. Make sure to check the sports calendar on our school website. Finally, we would love to see you come out and support our CMS athletes. We hope to see everyone at the open house on Sep 14, 2021. CMS Families,

What a difference one year makes. Even though we are wearing masks, it isgreat to have our students back in the building. Seeing students havinglunch at school, carrying on conversations, and a full sports schedule are allsomething we love to see. After-school band rehearsalsstart Thursday, September 2.The rehearsal will last from3:30-5 pm. Students shouldhave their lyres and flipbooks by this time.

Book Club is open to7th and 8th Graders and will meetonce a month to discuss the bookthat is decided on by the club.Meetings will be held on the FIRSTMonday of each month: 3:45-4:45 inroom C109.
