Joy trips have been a popular social event for many years at St. Peter’s. The Joy committee hopes to

create new interest in trips so that enjoyable, engaging opportunities are also financially responsible.

We have created a few basic guidelines to help planners arrange for transportation. Joy trips will

expand to include more participants as interest and support grows.

• 1st week of reservations Sept 2-12 limited to St. Peter’s members. If a member

wishes to include a guest, they may ADD them if space permits during the 2nd

week of reservations. For example: Mary Jane (church member) + 1guest

• 2nd week reservations Sept 13-19 if space permits open to guest or friends. If you

designated a guest when you made your reservation the office will call you to

confirm space for your guest.

• Payment due within 1 week of making reservation

• Payments are non-refundable, the church office will maintain a waiting list.

Call church, 706.291.9111 to make your reservation. Seating LIMITED to 25. Call EARLY to ensure your space!

2019 CALENDAR DRIVE FOR DFACS The Canterbury Club wants your extra 2019 calendars! Please help us support our local Department of Family and Children’s Services by donating a 2019 calendar. Children and families in the DFCS system have multiple appointments, doctors’ visits, court dates, visitation, etc. Keeping these appointments are vital for families and kids in DFCS care. A calendar is essential for a family to keep up with all the dates that are important to reuniting them with their children. Last year St. Peter’s and the Canterbury Club donated over 150 calendars and all have been used. We welcome ANY shape, size or theme. A donation box will be in the Parish Hall and in the Willingham House starting in September.
