Welcome to KCSD!

As part of Homecoming Week, the KHS Hall of Fame Committee will recognize the Second Class of Hall of Famers on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at 5:30 PM at The Chateau in Kingston. The ceremony will honor individuals who have made tremendous contributions to the Tiger Athletic Program. This year 12 inductees will be welcomed into the Hall of Fame, spanning graduating classes from 1927 to 2007. The community is invited to attend the celebration. Reservations are required. Contact the Athletic Department for more information, 845-943-3736.

MeagherThe Kingston High School Myron J. Michael building will be memorialized as part of the Second Century Capital Project. The 1937 building cornerstone will be used as the foundation for a New York State Historical Marker commemorating the building, architects and Principal Michael. The historical marker will be posted outside the new KHS Salzmann building entrance plaza when production is completed.

Memorializing MJM

Construction has commenced at the Meagher School building, transforming the space into a new public education prekindergarten and administrative offices for KCSD. One of the Pre-K rooms in the building was previously completed and has welcomed Parents-of-Preschoolers (POP) and their children for “POP Group” over the past year. POP Group was started to introduce preschool-aged children and their families to the new space, participate in various educational activities and meet the administrators who are developing the programming for the future Center. The group will meet again in the Spring of 2019. Schedule to be announced.
