September 19-October 9

Greetings!

Welcome to 21 days of fasting and praying!

Fasting is the most powerful spiritual discipline of all the Christian disciplines.

Through fasting and prayer, the Holy Spirit can transform your life. I am still

convinced that when God's people fast with a proper biblical motive, seeking

God's face and not his hand, with a broken, repentant, and contrite spirit; God will

hear from heaven and heal our lives, our families, our churches, our communities,

our nation and our world. Isaiah 58 reminds us that fasting encourages humility,

loosens the chains of injustice, unties the chords of the yoke, frees the oppressed,

feeds the hungry, provides for the poor, and clothes the naked.

As we take this journey together, I want you to know that God has positioned you

for a potential fresh move of His Spirit that will cause the seeds you have planted

to sprout into a mighty harvest.

Patience is a part of God's program. Crops do not just simply happen. Reaping a

harvest is the outcome of a lengthy series of events that cannot be bypassed or

overlooked. However, be encouraged by Galatians 6:9 which says, "and let us not

be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not". Some of

you have survived the worst season of your life. You have cleared your field,

plowed your ground, and sowed your seed. Because of your faithfulness, it’s your

season to reap your harvest!

Growing at the Kingdom Level

This fast is not designed to lose physical weight or pounds, but rather to lose the weights and

sins that easily beset us.

NOTE: If you are sick and/or under medical care, taking medication(s), have a diagnosed

medical condition or disease, pregnant or lactating, younger than 21 – please consult with a

medical or parental authority before fasting. Mount Zion Baptist Church of Greensboro, Inc.

Week 1: Scriptures, Decrees and Declarations

Psalm 126:6 New Living Translation (NLT)

Galatians 6:7-9 New Living Translation (NLT)

Jeremiah 5:24 New International Version (NIV)

Deuteronomy 24:19 New Living Translation (NIV)

I decree and declare that every Godly seed planted in me shall yield a harvest that fully

demonstrates the character and power of Jesus Christ. I will share all that He is through my

words and actions toward mankind.

I decree and declare that I will always sow in good soil; therefore my harvest does not rely

on seasons. Because I constantly sow, my harvest will not end.

I decree and declare that my harvest will prove that God’s principles are eternally at work.

I will reap what I sow. I am intentional about the seeds I plant, knowing that the impact is

eternal.

I decree and declare that God will reveal every ungodly seed in the way of my harvest and

show me how to root them out without damaging this great work I have cultivated

through faith in Christ.

I decree and declare that every faction standing against my harvest shall die. My process of

planting will never, ever, be disrupted again. My ideas are vision preparing to live. The time

is now!

I decree and declare my harvest is healthy and full of life. Each vine is strong because I am

eternally planted in Christ. He has taught me to prune carefully, water generously, and

keep my work in His light. I believe my time of great harvest is now.

I decree and declare that the Lord of the Harvest is watching carefully over me, and He will

perform all the good that He intends toward me and the generations after me.

Week 2: Scriptures, Decrees and Declarations

Joel 2:23-24 New International Version (NIV)

Genesis 8:22 New International Version (NIV)

Hosea 10:12 New International Version (NIV)

Jeremiah 51:33 New Living Translation (NLT)

I decree and declare the Lord of the Harvest is my provider and my strength. His thoughts

concerning me bring life to the seeds I have sown. I am expecting an abundance in my

harvest.

I decree and declare the seed of the Word of God is within me. My body will bring Glory

to the name of Jesus. My mind will remain steadfast on the Kingdom, and my spirit is

aligned with my Heavenly Father.

I decree and declare my family will walk into the fullness of our harvest. The devourer is

defeated and the enemy is exposed. My family is walking in total victory because of the

blood of Jesus.

I decree and declare that in this season the manifested power of God shall impact my har-

vest. The work of my hands will bring favor to my house. I will remain focused during

dark moments because the Lord is my light.

I decree and declare the abundant rain of God is bringing life to every dry place. The

ground of my heart is producing a harvest that will change my family and this generation.

Chains are broken and I am set free.

I decree and declare the anointing of God empowers me to do work in the Kingdom of

God. I am a diligent steward that will take advantage of every opportunity to grow during

this season of harvest.

I decree and declare that my thoughts and my habits belong to God. They will fertilize the

ground from which I will receive my harvest. By faith, I believe my best days are still in

front of me and God’s best is still within me.

Week 3: Scriptures, Decrees and Declarations

Isaiah 9:3 New International Version (NIV)

Proverbs 10:5 New International Version (NIV)

Psalm 67:5-7 New International Version (NIV)

Luke 10:1-12 New International Version (NIV)

I decree and declare that I honor the Lord with my wealth and the first fruits of all my

produce. Then, my barns will be filled with plenty. My vats will overflow with new wine.

I decree and declare that I am blessed from the fruit of my body. I am blessed with today’s

equivalent of the produce of the ground, the increase of my herds, my cattle, and the

offspring of my flock.

I decree and declare that the LORD opens to me His good treasure, the heavens to give

the rain to my land in its season and to bless all the work of my hand.

I decree and declare that I will give and receive. Good measure, pressed down, shaken

together, running over, will it be put into my lap.

I decree and declare that I will not lose heart in doing good, for in due time I will reap if I

do not grow weary.

I decree and declare the best is yet to come as my life has only begun. My days are getting

increasingly brighter, more beautiful and more fruitful.

I decree and declare that I will accomplish everything God has placed in my heart. I have

not missed my window of opportunity. God has moments of favor in my future. He is pre-

paring me right now because He is about to release a special grace to help me accomplish

that dream. This is my time. This is my moment. I receive it today!
