Local Programs Matter!

PBS39 is proud to be a part of yourcommunity, and we are equally proud to bringyou quality local programming that matters toyou and your family. This month, we highlightour local news magazine show, FOCUS, whichwas recently nominated for four Mid-AtlanticEmmy® Awards. Kicking off season two onFriday, September 19 at 7pm, FOCUS showcases local people, places, and issues.

FOCUS is produced by an Emmy® award-winning team and captures the essence of thePBS39 mission to educate, inspire and entertain. Every week, Laura McHugh (executive producer/host), Grover Silcox (reporter/producer), and Brittany Garzillo (reporter/producer) cover national and localissues, connecting our community membersto resources available in the Greater LehighValley.

In addition to providing viewers with in-depthcoverage of timely topics, the taping of theshow provides more than 500 students withfree field trips, giving them a behind-the-scenes look at PBS39 and offering a uniquecareer exploration experience.
