Reshakel is a new Egyptian brand for reusing waste variously to create new products for the market needs. Relatively, combining ethics of use with fresh new ideas to furnish space and life. The concept attracts and motivates users to rethink their actions and decisions and consider green living. Environmental safety is not about living in the old ages and dropping out technology, but through creating new applications for the old ones and getting the best and the most benefit out of it. The name is a merge between the English words “reuse” & “recycle” in a twist with the Arabic word which translates the verb “to shape” - to - ”شكِّل“suit the multicultural society of Egypt.

Sand Wraps are all natural, medical packs for soothing pain and relaxing muscles and joints. The project heads towards an economic, eco-friendly and medical direction, whereas the product shall be based on Egyptian assets, and simple in manufacturing for catching up with the crisis of the complete paralysis Egypt passed by on its January 25th Revolution. Another benefit is the natural healing experience one gets. Sand Wraps are mainly composed in triangular sand and cotton panels that help absorb moisture and heat surrounding joints while applying soft pressure to help feel better. Rheumatoid/Rheumatism patients were taken as major case studies.

Through intensive research, it was noted that Islamic Furniture is found to be heavy weighted due to the extra fine materials used, hence the cost is extremely high, also these products are usually handmade. Two common features, ergonomic proportions and extensive detailing of inlay and ornamental surfaces, were main features in the Islamic scheme. Thus the main aim was to produce a chair of the same spirit using beech wood to suit ergonomic and comfortable chharacteristics which then could upgrade the style robust aesthetic into a newer modern appeal. The chair is unique for its cushioning mechanism that is 100% made of wood, this mechanism gives an upholstered feel to meet comfort.
