WHAT IS SEO?
Search engine optimization (SEO) is the process of affecting the visibility of a website or a web page in a search engine's "natural" or un-paid ("organic") search results. (via Google)
Two things determine if your site shows up in search results: 1. How closely the words/
phrases on a site or in an article relate to what people are searching
2. Domain Authority: A rating of how well a site will perform in search engine results, based on site traffic and links to and from a site.
The MOZ bar, is a tool that shows the domain authority (DA) of websites. ( www.moz.com ) You can use this tool to check your sites DA and for keyword research.
Content: Not only useful to site base, but relevant.
Technical: Website formatting, page loading etc.
Social: having a base of supporters via social media
Tactical: performing Keyword Research and applying it to the website content (blogs, articles, links etc.)

TACTICAL SEO: KEYWORD RESEARCH
quite possibly the most important part of SEO. You cannot begin to plan for a campaign unless you know which phrases you are targeting. (via Google)
Therefore, Keyword Research is the process of finding words that fit your website and social media message as well as words/ phrases that are actually being searched on search engines so you can use such words to allow your website to show up in search results.
STEP ONE: BRAINSTORM KEYWORDS

the page/ post Be relevant to what the site base/ POTENTIAL site base
are searching
STEP TWO: GET IDEAS
Tools: SOOVLE and Ubersuggest These will show you
phrases associated with words that are searched
STEP THREE: RESEARCH IDEAS
Google Ad Words is a great end all tool to research Keyword ideas that have been brainstormed. For not only is Google the top search engine, but this tool is free and allows you to see the number of monthly searchs of potential keywords.
