SeniorS’ Chat
Bill’s Column
The end of summer is fast approaching. Hope all have had a great
summer and enjoyed any vacations taken. There is still time to enjoy
the outdoors with family and friends – to take in that ball game, or that
quick trip to the beach or mountains. Soon enough school and
Congress will be back in session with a much more hurried pace, and
traffic congestion will increase, especially close to schools. We have
had crazy weather with oppressive heat and very little rain, but luckily,
as of this writing, it has been a slow tropical season. The peak of the
season is coming so let’s keep our guard up and stay prepared.
Be safe, stay healthy and enjoy the rest of your summer!
New FCC Requirement
FCC has a new mandate requiring ALL VRS providers to collect and provide additional customer infor-
mation. In the past, the VRS providers collected your name (first and last), your address, etc. Now, they are
required to collect your full name, your date of birth and the last four digits of your Social Security number.
